This was an awful lipstick for Loreal. I have been a loyal user of loreals. Lipsticks for many years and was excited to try this new line. However, the color was disappointing.it's a terrible orange red, not a true red. Looks very brassy and unnatural. I also bought this in two other colors, blazing sangria and refined ruby, both awful reds also. Such a disappointment!

The 10-hour claim is exaggerated but this lipstick lasts pretty long for a lipstick, and it does not dry out my lips as much as other lipsticks that claim to be long-lasting. My "main" lipcolor is the L'Oreal Infallible liquid lipcolor, but I find I often need to refresh my color after lunch. You can't really "touch up" the liquid lipcolor - you have to remove it and start over - and I'm not going to go to that trouble at the office. So it's really easy to just whip out the Infallible Le Rouge lipstick and swipe some on. Although it isn't too drying, I do like to apply a moisturizing lip gloss over it for more comfort. This gets me to the end of the work day.
