I've tried a lot of lipsticks and lip glosses that claim to last, but this is the only one that's ever done the job for me. This product goes through 18 hours --three meals, coffee, etc.-- and still looks great. I find that it does take a bit of makeup remover to get it off at the end of the day, but no big deal! Just takes a second, and is well worth it.

Regarding the color, I tried a few and this one was perfect. If you are fair-skinned with olive undertones and have very dark hair (like me), I'd imagine this should work on you, too.

Oh, and regarding the other reviewer who said this went on sheer, I have to disagree. Must be different skin types, or something. It's definitely not sheer on me!

I bought this on a whim from a local drugstore. This color is gorgeous. It goes on just heavy enough to add color to my face and just sheer enough to still look natural. Garnet is my favorite color. It is a sexy, sheer red. The packaging is ingenious. It does not wear off and once the topcoat is on you're set. I can't say enough good things about this lip color. If it is ever discontinued I will cry.

Best lasting lipstick ever tried and I have tried a lot. It really does work and lasts throughout the entire day or night. Once the topcoat seal is applied your lips are not sticky or dry. You can apply your own gloss and color still won't run off underneath. Garnet is my favorite color on this line, a soft red that goes with anything. The colors on this site don't really do justice.
