I tried this product for the first time yesterday, and was very impressed with it. I have thick, medium-length, slightly wavy hair that can be difficult to comb after it's washed unless I use a conditioner. This product has a pleasant fruity scent that fades quickly after it's rinsed out, and it left my hair soft, shiny, and easy to comb.

We have tried a couple of the different scents of the LOreal Kids shampoos, but for some reason this particular one (burst of watermelon) makes my (8-year-old) son's eyes burn. Every single time he's used this shampoo during his showers, he yells for me to come and help him because his eyes burn from this product. That did not happen with the other scents, only the watermelon.

My daughter was excited when she seen that L'Oreal had made shampoo just for her, as she said; now her and Mommy could do their hair together. She picked out the Burst of Soft Lavender, this is our favorite. That night while washing her hair, there wasn't a lavender smell what so ever, it smelled like cheap hand soap and the shampoo itself was NOT what it claim to be. Her hair was just terrible, like matted knots, felt very nasty on our hands while washing or rinsing her hair. There isn't any way you can get by without a whole lot of cream rinse either, and even then, it was still hard to comb. She wants to go back to Johnson & Johnson shampoo. I personally tried this product; we both have very long hair. I do not recommend this product, we are both very unhappy. This one needs to go back to the drawing board and this time try the product on Kids and Mothers first.

This shampoo is wonderful! The smell is pleasing but not overpowering. The no tear formula delivers that exact promise. Packaging is soft and easy to handle for even children. When hair is dry it is absolutely shiny, soft and manageable. You cannot ask for a better price and product in a children's shampoo! I have switched to cheaper [Suave] and expensive [Paul Mitchell] brand name shampoos just to see the difference [I like change ;)] in the past 6 years and yet I ALWAYS come back to L'Oreal. Never again will I change children's shampoos since this product has proven to be tried and true.
