Have used this mascara for many years. I try others on occassion when I read a review. Bottom line I get mad at myself everytime!! Can't beat this product!!

I find that I have to apply additional mascara to make my lashes stand out. Overall I am not pleased with this product.

This is a truly great mascara, and the closest I've found to Lancôme Definicils at a drugstore price--not surprising, since L'Oreal owns Lancôme. I love the way it applies, and the way it looks. My beef with this mascara is that the wand is just too long and awkward to deal with. The tube is too long to fit into any of my portable makeup bags. A long wand does not create long lashes, and L'Oreal has plenty of other lengthening formulas in a portable-sized tube, so why is Lash Out packaged this way? It's the sole reason I quit buying it, and it's why I can't give it a 5 star rating.

I was one of the many who contributed to Lash Out being number 1 the year it came out, 1988! It was marketed as a lash extender and it did just that, I loved it! Since then I have tried other mascaras... in the pink/green tube, the orange tube, tubes that had click dials, tubes that looked like a spiked heel, mascaras with primer on one end and color on the other, mascara in purple tubes with wings...none of these, in my opinion, worked. They were either clumpy, messy, flaky or all of the above! I am 40 now and Lash Out has been my go-to mascara of all time. I'm saddened that it has been discontinued, all the good stuff is, so I was thrilled to have found drugstore.com! Thanks for making so many great products available!!

The mascara stays on the stick, gets in your hair as you are applying it and clumps on the brush. I will never buy this kind again.

I've tried different brand... Got this one because of promotion... After use it, it's cool... Make my eye lash looks long and thick..

Its pretty good, but clumps pretty seriously when you put it on. A last brush (a toothbrush works too!) is a definate must to smooth out the big clumps. It goes on pretty thick. Eyelashes are left looking long and dark, not exactly natural, but definately longer and thicker. It does flake at the end of the work day, which is a serious bummer. If the product was a bit thinner and didn't flake at the end of the day it would be perfect.

Have used this mascara for years. The brush and lightness of the formula is the best and I've used Chanel, Lancome, etc. mascaras. I swear by this.

I wear very little makeup, but mascara's one of the products that falls into my "must" category. I've tried many brands, including fancy (and expensive) department store mascaras, but I always seem to come back to Lash Out. It lengthens and wears well, and never clumps, but will smudge if I wear it when I work out. It comes off with soap and water, but since the pigment is intense, it sometimes requires a second wash to remove it from under my eyes.
