Do not know why this is called a primer. It is more of a luminzer/highlighter. Tried just a tiny bit as a primer and it made me look like a ghost. Will use as an inner-corner-eye brightener only.

This lumi primer is okay. I have dry skin and I'm almost 58, so I would have preferred something a bit thicker and moisturizing. Gives a bit of a shimmer. The last luminizer I used was Clinique, which was more to my liking. But for the price, this one is okay, if your skin is not too dry. I don't know how it would be if my skin was oily. I usually like L'Oreal products, that's why I bought it.

I stir a smidge of this in with my foundation for a natural glow, without shine. Just a little goes along way, making this a great product with great value!

When I first tried a sample of this product, it was with little to no belief that the product would be of value to me. I rarely take the time to wear makeup, and I dispise the heavy feeling of makeup, especially liquid type foundations.

My disdain was even heavier when I saw the shimmery liquid. It seemed too watery to be of much use - and glitter? REALLY? Because everyone wants to look like a stripper before going to a parent/teacher conference, right?

Still, I tried the product and fell in love. A dab at the inner corner of my eyes, a little on my cheekbones... oh. MY. Wow. At almost 40, I don't have wrinkles, but I hadn't noticed how sad my skin coloring was until that moment.

A quick brush over with just a very small amount of mineral based powder foundation and... WOW. What a difference a tiny bit of product can make. Several people commented how I looked so "radiant!" One friend actually asked if I was pregnant. "Your skin is glowing!" Hah.

Best of all, I don't feel like I'm wearing makeup. It is light and smooth and doesn't cause breakouts or make me itch as other products have. My ONLY complaint is that it doesn't seem long lasting. When I use it in the morning, by late afternoon, I don't notice the "dewy fresh" look anymore. (Not being a frequent makeup wearer, perhaps this is natural?) Thankfully, reapplying is quick and easy, though it still doesn't have the same punch as shortly after it's first applied.

For those of us who are maybe getting a little older but still like a natural look with minimal product/effort, this is essential.

I do my usual concealer/foundation routine then apply this in key areas on my face that need brightening like under and inner corners of my eyes, just under my nose and corners of my mouth. It's an instant "face-lift" without the surgery. I love this whole line that L'Oreal makes.
You know when you find one of those products and you hope and pray they don't stop making? This line is one of those.

Young girls usually have brighter skin. It's no secret. When I am getting older, my skin lost its elasticity and reflection. The primer cannot help to get back the two, but it definitely helps to restore the light, just the amount I want. Love it!
