I thought this shave balm might calm down the sensitivity of his facial skin and it did. He used this shave balm underneath their Vita-Lift Anti-Wrinkle & Firming moisturizer (which is also great for sensitive skin). The only problem was he seemed to go through this product in a few weeks, while he's still using the moisturizer. This shave balm comes in a 'stick' exactly like a deodorant stick gel. I don't know if he put too much on or the 'stick' contains too little product. One would think that using both products the same amount of time would not cause one to run out weeks before the other one. That is why I think it's pricey as the stick lasts for about a month with daily facial use. I have tried a lot of different after shave balms and this one definitely is the top of the list. It soothes my face after a shave and moisturizes well without that greasy feeling of other lotions with SPF. I have actually begun using it twice a day (after shaving and right before bed) because it is a better moisturizer than my normal face cream. Also this balm has none of that unique sunscreen smell of other SPF lotions. I can't recommend it highly enough!
