I had been using Avon's ANEW products for the past 6 months but it's just too pricey so I decided to try Loreal's line of products and it works just as good as Avon's (just a lot cheaper). I'm 36 years old and although have not began seeing any signs of aging in my skin, I wanted to start caring for my skin now. This moisterizer goes on so smooth and gives my face a supple, youthful appearance. I also purchased the day moisterizer to compliment this night cream, but if you are on a budget, you can actually even use this night cream as your AM moisterizer too. The first thing I noticed is that it burned when I applied it shortly after cleansing my face, even though I didn't "scrub" roughly. Then, the morning after applying it, I jumped in the pool only to wonder why my eyes were burning. I removed my goggles and splashed water in my eyes to make it stop. Still not fully aware it was this night cream, the next day when I got up and went directly into the shower, the same thing happened. So if you've got the least bit sensitive skin, pass on this. Also, I couldn't use it long enough to tell if it actually was anti-wrinkle or firming. It's hard to find a night cream that is, so I snatched it hoping it would work. I love the consistency- thick- and don't mind any minor smell. It goes on and is absorbed quickly, but doesn't try out my skin. Very hard to do! I just wish I could find something more natural, but I'm really at a loss there, so this is where I'll stop until it doesn't work anymore! No burning for me. I use a little extra and spread it across to my ears and down my neck. Very important! Highly recommend it. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? I tried its competion from the other company, and it broke out my skin, so back to this great stuff. It moisturizes and soothes my sensitive skin, with never an irritation. (This cream does not have the amino-peptides that are so irritating in skin creams.) Do not pay attention to the clean smell--it goes away. I am 63 and I have no wrinkles on my face.
