Get the Melting Gel instead. Even a tiny amount of this stinks of hair gel all day.

Melting Gel has far less odor.

I've used this product (and only L'Oreal products) on my hair for years. They work! It is unfortunate that they are not currently being offered on local store shelves. When I found them on this site I bought a three month supply. I use this product on hair - towel dried - and subsequently lightly blow dried. It gives body and volume.

I swim every day and wash my hair every day. This keeps my curly - wavy white hair from looking like Brillo - and it doesn't seem as if I gelled it at all.

I have very thick hair, and I don't style it much. With this, I can put a little into my wet hair, comb and go. It's a strong hold but very clean, very natural look and no buildup. Been using it for years, and can't find a replacement I like as much!

I use this gel every day on med. naturally curly hair and LOVE it. It doesn't weigh my hair down and holds the curl all day. Apply to damp hair, hang upside down and scrunch up towards roots, then use diffuser (with the prongs). Finally a gel that works for curly hair!

I use the product for my medium weight naturally curly hair. I use it after shampooing in wet hair and then let it dry, or scrunch in dry hair to reactivate the curl on days I don't wash my hair. It is not a glue-like hold, but does hold the curl well without feelling hard as a rock. I like the lighter feel of my hair when using this product over some of the other strong hold types, but gives it more hold than the cheapest gels. If you need a really stiff hold for your hair this isn't for you.
