I bought this shadow based on the color description - Antique Brown. It did look very dark in the photo but the color captured in a photo often is at odds with the true color so I decided to go ahead with the purchase.

I would describe the actual color as a very dark charcoal. It goes on smoothly (except, oddly, when I tried to apply it over L'Oreal eye primer)but because it was so dark, I immediately wiped it off, I can't speak to how long it lasts, whether it creases, etc.

In this case, trust the photo of the product color and not the description.

I use this as an eyeliner over my pencil. It lasts all day and does not smudge.
