I really like this eyeshadow so far. What I really like about it is that it is very smooth and soft. I really prefer buildable colors and I was afraid this would be too dark for me but it isn't. It has some shimmer but not a lot (more of a satin finish) and I think it looks great for work/school. It isn't anywhere as dark as it is in this photo, it is more of a medium brown in my opinion.

I used the very dark as an eyeliner, and the matt cream (no longer available as my lid color. They no longer offer the matt cream (which was identical to Bobbie Brown Navajo) and I would pay to get this color back as it was the best for my skin. The darker color works great as a liner, brow color and slight shadow in the crease. This is an excellent product just as good as the high end (Laura Mercier / Bobbi Brown) shadows I now use. Unfortunately no compact (you cannot consolidate the pans into one palatte), and the packaging in really cheap and makes using it horrible. I pay more now just so I don't throw away 2/3 or more of the product due to broken packaging.

This product has completely changed in color. It still says 'brushed suede' but completely different product. I'm very dissapointed.

I bought this recently at a local discount cosmetics store. It is a lovely medium brown shade with burnished undertones and
is one of those shades that looks good on almost everyone. It goes on very smoothly with the applicator or an eye shadow brush and does not crease. I own several of the L'Oreal single shadows but this is one that I wear most often. Even though the shadow has
"matte" stamped on it, it is really a pretty satin finish.

Brushed Suede is a light brown with no auburn overtones. The color is not a match to the photo.
