I have somewhat dry skin and I've never found this to feel too greasy. I get a very natural tan, though it seems to fade a bit unevenly. I love that it has sunscreen, and perhaps it's this ingredient that causes others to describe it greasy?? At least you've saved a step and protected your skin!! This is also the first product I've used that doesn't have that awful self-tanner smell!! That said, I still think it gives a very even tan, and I do not have any issues with the odor. (I've found that tanning products work and smell differently on different people, so you'll never know till you try one exactly how it is going to work for you.) Sometimes, it works amazingly, and sometimes, I end up looking like a streaky, freaky mess. But I've found a way to make it go on just the way I want it. First I take a shower and exfoliate head to toe. Then a apply a regular body lotion, more on the elbows and knees. Then I put the self-tanner, making sure only to lightly glaze the knees and elbows. RIGHT after I apply the self-tanner, I wash my hands several times with St. Tropez Self-Tanner Remover. This product tends to stain palms very badly. Overall, an alright product since the color isn't too orange, but I have since switched to the tinted gel version, since you can see where you apply it. Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Lotion SPF 15, Medium Natural, 5 fl oz: Had a nice color, but didn't ever really dry. Also was very streaky and splotchy. I use the Jergans lotion with better results though, slower. Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Lotion SPF 15, Medium Natural, 5 fl oz: Do you see that picture of the product, with the orange lid? That's what color my legs were a day after I used this product. My palms were also orange, even though I thoroughly washed them with soap and hot water. Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Lotion SPF 15, Medium Natural, 5 fl oz: Please consider trying something else if you're looking for a self tanner. This product was absolute awful; it is VERY streaky and I was very careful but it still streaked. It stains your palms no matter what -- so make sure you wear gloves. It has a nice smell, but is pretty greasy it takes FOREVER to dry. It's hard to see where you've put it to avoid putting too much. Also gives kind of a sick color to the skin; it reminded me of the end stages of a really deep bruise, kind of an orangey yellow, even a faint greenish color. Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Lotion SPF 15, Medium Natural, 5 fl oz: I normally use Jergen's Natural Glow but thought I'd try this because it has an SPF 15. It's a good moisturizer and it smells really nice. My only complaint is that it comes in a Light-Medium version instead of just one for Light skin. I am quite pale and this did give me a nice tan. However, since it does give a somewhat darker tan than the Jergen's lotion it is less forgiving. I had a nice even tan on my arms and legs but freakishly dark feet and splotches on my ankles and wrists. I will use it again but I will be much more careful on how I apply it. Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Lotion SPF 15, Medium Natural, 5 fl oz: I thought this was quite nice. It's very moisturizing and I found the color to be natural. The scent was quite pleasant unlike most. As far as the application, I make sure I rub my skin in both directions when applying and always at the end, I put a thin film of moisturizer all over the parts of my body where it may come out "darker" or unnatural looking - like the knees, ankles, feet and creases of arms. It works perfectly every time. When applying to my face, I use a makeup sponge and again at the end put a pearl size amount of regular moisturizer on the sponge and go all along my hairline and jaw line so there are no lines of demarcation. I then take an old toothbrush and brush through my brows and all along my hairline again so it blends perfectly! My 4 stars on this product were due to the size of the product - too little. Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Lotion SPF 15, Medium Natural, 5 fl oz: Please, do NOT buy this. Fake, orange color that comes right off with face toner. Sticks to your skin instead of being absorbed. Gross, gross stuff. Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Lotion SPF 15, Medium Natural, 5 fl oz: This is great! It goes on with a little shimmer so you can see where you're putting it and it is never orange! If you make sure to keep your body moisturized it lasts quite a while!!(People who keep complaining with very pale skin need to mix part self-tanner with part regular lotion no matter what brand or they WILL be streaky and orange! And you have to exfoliate before you apply it and get the right shade for your natural skin tone. Self-tanner doesn't work right if you don't put it on right!) Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Lotion SPF 15, Medium Natural, 5 fl oz: When I used it for the first time, it took FOREVER to dry even though it states on the bottle that it dries quickly. I did get a somewhat even tan. I just figured that maybe I put too much on. S-O-O-O, I tried it again. I have now had it on for nearly one hour and it is still very greasy, and I am almost afraid to get dressed. I put less on this time, so that was not the problem. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Comments about L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Lotion SPF 15, Medium Natural, 5 fl oz: I've been using this for at least a month. At first it wasn't too bad, but I found out that in order to keep it from fading at all you have to apply almost every day, instead of 1-2 times a week as it says. It seems to dry pretty quickly, but there's always at least one spot that needs touch up later on. The blotchiness when it starts to fade had happened many on my arms which is really frustrating. It doesn't tan your face well at all. At least not mine, I guess it's because of my other skin care products. Maybe an actual "for faces only" product will work better. For now, I just use a powdered bronzer which helps a lot. This morning my boys told me that I look orange and that was enough for me. I'll be wearing jeans AGAIN! And trying another tanner after this one is totally gone. Which reminds me, it seems to wash off too easy, like around your wrists and top of hands. Whatever -- it's just an ok product. Too bad.
