Ok, maybe I did something wrong but I'm an avid spray tanner, I'm fair skinned with freckles & blonde hair so I don't tan much as for my fear of cancer so I've used numerous products. I read good reviews about this so I tried it but OMG I look like a brownish/orange tiger on my thighs & arms?! I would think a wipe would be simpler to use than a cream or spray but I'm not happy with this....it's not that I don't recommend it but seriously what did I do wrong? It clearly says Streak-Free?! Not really....I should stick to the spray tans at the salons. My mistake.....

Make sure to wash your hands w/ an exfoliator and soap with a rough sponge when done with application. Tan lasts 3-4 days. Great color. I sugeest to use it before bed, the smell is not so great, so if you apply before bed, you wake up and take a shower right away and it's all good. I have been using these for years, and they just stopped selling them in stores. So thank God for drugstore.com for having them and also a great price, can't beat it!

I have tried numerous tanning lotions, that I was somewhat satisfied with for a short time. I always went back to the tanning salon or the sun. I used to use the Sublime Bronzer lotion but found that a bit sticky and too sparkly, which made it look like a bottle tan. I decided to give this a try when I saw it on sale. It is so easy to apply. I unfold the towel as I go along my body. I'm 5.3 so its definitely enough product for me. However, with only 6 towels in a pack, it only gets me 2 weeks of getting and keeping a nice glow. I saw tanning towelettes on [@] by Kate Sommerville, but noticed that they were about 3 x's the amount of L'Oreal's Sublime towels!! Thats a definite NO BUY! I am going out to buy more as I feel this is probably the most bang for your buck. You'll notice a nice glow after 2 applications. After that, you can control the level of darkness if you keep applying it day after day. I'm planning on doing 4 applications in my first week and then twice in the following weeks to keep a healthy looking color for the summer. Good luck girls!

You have to be careful when applying to avoid dark spots, i.e. moles.

I use this once a week because a) salon spray tans are expensive and b) I'm terrified of getting skin cancer. The color is great - it doesn't look fake at all (and I'm pretty pale with blonde hair and light eyes, so fake tanning stuff is extreme on me). It's not messy to apply and not greasy. It also doesn't rub off on clothes/sheets if you let it dry first.

The only downsides:
1) It's hard to see where you put this, so although you don't get dark streaks usually, you can get "missing" streaks if you're not super-thorough!
2) After a few hours, it does develop that weird tanning smell. It's mild, though, and I think I'm the only one who notices.

Just take your time when applying and go over the same areas previously covered many times as the towel dries and you will have a natural tan. I love it for my legs and arms. I am very fair skinned and I also have to put sunscreen on with a butterknife so it is the only tan I get in the summer.

If you work it in circles while applying you get a nice even looking tan that is not orange.
I tried the foam from Rodan and Fields and it left me sticky and orange looking.This tanning towel was amazing and the price is right!

Results are what really count, and this rates 5 stars. Also, it is so easy to pack and use. It goes on evenly, except on my feet. Feet may require 2 applications to blend in blotchy areas. Use circular motions when applying. Easy clean up and disposal, with no drips or stains on you or your countertops, sink or bathroom floor! I have stopped experimenting with other bronzers. This one is THE BEST. I plan to give as presents to family members and friends who are still sitting in the sun to get the perfect tan.
