Important: Haircolor products can cause an allergic reaction which, in certain rare cases, can be serious. Therefore, before you use this product it is necessary to follow these precautions:

Do not use:

If you have already had a reaction to a haircolor product.
If you have a sensitive, itchy or damaged scalp. If you have a tattoo, the risks of allergic reaction may be increased.

Perform an allergy test with a portion of this product 48 hours before each use of this product. (see the instruction sheet). Remember to buy your product 2 days ahead of time.

Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
If product gets into eyes, rinse immediately.
Wear gloves provided in kit.
Thoroughly rinse hair after application.
Wait at least 14 days after bleaching, relaxing or perming before coloring.
Do not use over compound henna or progressive color.
Keep product out of the reach of children. Do not apply on children.

I have been using this line for a few months now. Always in the Pure Light Brown until now - I thought I would try the Pure Dark Blond for a nice change of pace. Like I previously experienced with this line, it is very easy to apply the foam color. No drips. No mess. One bottle lasts much longer than traditional dye. Best of all, it did not leaved my hair feeling overly dry.

Unfortunately, the color came out terribly wrong. Instead of the beautiful blond represented on the front and side panel, I was left with the same shade of brown, perhaps just a tad darker, with noticeable red undertones. Both my natural and dyed shades are far from dark, but I feel like this color *MIGHT* work for someone who already has this current shade, or lighter.

Bottom line, if you want dark blond hair, try another brand.

I did not get the color on the box. My hair is only light brown. I used Dark Blonde. I came out a darker brown! Terrible product. I won't be using this again. Excellence is much better.

I'm 47 and I've been using hair color for 20 plus years. It's just recently I've been getting more gray. I tried the mousse because it looked so easy on TV. Well, they were right. I've read the other review on this site and the gal said it was a disaster but she had long hair. Mine is short to medium. I followed the directions exactly. What was so great is that I didn't need my usual bowl, brush, clips etc. I just used rubber gloves and the color. I used my hands to apply and it was that easy. I used color 83, dark blonde. Although I wasn't thrilled the first few days, the color has softened to a really pretty golden color, so I will be using it again. I don't feel any damage. I don't use heat appliances daily on my hair so there's not too much damage to begin with. It covered my gray completely. This was without a doubt the easiest hair color I've used to date.
