I love this foundation, just be sure to tap the powder off the bottom of the base of the brush (which screws onto the dispenser) before you start applying the foundation so you don't get it all over you.

I've no idea why any of these are getting good reviews. I fell for the mineral makeup hype and purchased this. First, the packaging is in three parts: a clear plastic lid, the teeny cheap brush affixed to a middle lid, and the body well area containing the powder capped with a third lid that is perforated and seems to be permanently attached.

You can not get the powder into the perfed lid area without spilling it all over the place. And there was so little product in the packaging, that the small brush could not reach it in the well area. I also tried dumping the power into the clear plastic lid. That worked, but the brush won't get to the bottom! Then I tried using a palette and my own brush. That worked fairly well to evenly distribute the powder onto and into the brush. Even being careful to tap excess powder out of the brush, the product does not go onto the skin evenly nor smoothly. Also, if your skin is at all moist or oily, it will clump on and be almost impossible to smooth out evenly.

In my opinion, large waste of money for this particular product.

This is a very nice product. It is light-weight but offers very good coverage. It is easy and fast to apply. It covers blemished without looking clumpy and without drying out the skin. I've tried other brands from boutiques and drugstores and this is the best one I have found.

Since the reviews were so positive, I decided to skip the expensive department store mineral foundations and try this. Be warned this does not provide "light" coverage; it was so cakey that I discovered lines and wrinkles I never knew I had! To top things off, my face looked so oily and shiny (despite my dry skin) that I had to put loose powder on which, of course, made it look all that much worse. In the end, I had to take it all off.

I use this foundation everyday, and have been more satisfied with it than the more expensive stuff like Clinique and Bare Minerals. It matches my skin tone exactly, and makes my skin look perfect.
I'm buying this foundation for the rest of my life! :D

While another famous and very expensive mineral foundation (you know which one I mean!) left my skin dry and crepe-y, the L'Oreal mineral foundation gives the perfect finish - even though it's a powder, it's non-drying. I wouldn't hesitate to say that it's a better product overall than the more expensive alterrnative. The covereage is wonderful, and it's very easy to apply.

And here's a tip: you can get more coverage by applying concentrated amounts with a small eyeshadow brush.

This is the first mineral foundation I have used that actually covered like a foundation and stayed put. It is really light weight but gives me even coverage, I use it with a little bit of concealer where I need it and it looks great. I bought this because of its great reviews and I am not disappointed.

This mineral foundation works much better than other brands. I have tried several other (much more expensive) brands and I am much happier with this product. My skin looks clearer and does not become oily or dry. I'll never go back to the others.

I agree completely with those who say that it is as good as or better than the more expensive mineral foundations. I have tried a lot of products because I too am a makeup junkie. I spent so much money on products that didn't work nearly as well as this. I go through a LOT of makeup, and this is as friendly on my budget as it is to my face. It works 10 times better for me than Bare Minerals ever did, and it costs about half as much. It covers REALLY well, and I don't have to use as much, either. It hasn't caused any problems for my problematic skin, either. It does, like other mineral foundations and any loose powder product, make a mess when you put it on, but it comes off of stuff pretty easily, and if you plan ahead it's not really a problem. I highly recommend this product!
