I use a different brush than the one that comes with this so that I can apply it lightly--if you put too much on, it will appear shiney and like you have too much make up on. With a light hand, this powder is great and natural. I find it hard to find any powder that matches my very fair skin--this is close to white. If that's what you're looking for, it's perfect. I would buy this again.

I am what most would describe as pale or even ghostly white. I do not sunbathe or tan by choice. I am naturally pale and happen to like being that way. After all these years not being able to find one single powder(don't do foundation) that even came close to matching my complexion, I finally found this one! I plan to stock up on it in case they stop making it. I think the only reason its suddenly available is because of the "Twilight"movies. I love this powder cause it makes my skin glow and appear flawless. I recommend this to anyone who is pale complected. I love this product!!!

I tried this product because I thought it might prevent my skin getting greasy in the afternoon and needing to apply powder to my forehead and nose. Definitely not the case. I"ve tried to use this a few times, but it makes me shiny in the morning and just gets worse throughout the day.
I'm really disappointed because I am a HUGE fan of the L'Oreal Bare Naturale Foundation and the Soft-Focus MIneral Finish, but this "Mattifying" Powder is a waste of money.

I tried to apply this sparingly and have used Bare Minerals in the past so I have experience applying mineral makeup, but this stuff was incredibly disappointing. I am naturally quite pale and have trouble finding pressed and loose powders light *enough* for my skin, so I thought this would be a great solution but this is the first powder ever that was TOO light for me. Left me looking SHINY instead of matte cause it was so white. Wish I had my $$ back.
