I have coarse Asian hair and am always looking for products that make my hair glossier, smoother, sleeker, etc. This is a really good shampoo, smells good, lathers well, and actually helps my hair be a little sleeker, but I still have to use a smoothing balm after using it and the conditioner. But I have to with any shampoo I've used so I would recommend it.

Cleans thoroughly and has a nice smell. Good to normal hair type for daily use.
I hope it could be a little more moisturizing so that it can be more perfect for dry hair like mine during dry winter.

I using this shampoo but for very dry/damaged hair and then went to the store and they only hair it for dry hair. This does an ok job but nothing like the shampoo for very dry/damaged hair.

I used this shampoo as a daily shampoo, and it's great for dry or distressed hair. The funny part is that since there's royal jelly in this shampoo, bees have been following me and my hair for quite a while hahaha! Don't buy this if you have a bee phobia.

well it moisturized my hair but that was it. It made it really greasy and feel waxy.

I used this in conjunction with the conditioner. My hair is fine and straight but can get oily in the cowlick area. I could tell when I was blow drying it that I wasn’t going to be happy and I was right. It left my hair heavy and I didn’t notice any shine difference. I would’ve gotten back in the shower and washed it with a different product if I had had the time but I did not. It left me with a cowlick where I only get one when my hair is dirty.
I gave two stars instead of one because it smells awesome and it was cheap. I not only will never buy this product again I won’t use it again.

I used this product after my hair became dry and dull looking from bleaching. I didn't notice big changes on the first use, but after a half a month and a full month I noticed my hair was changing from unhealthy to really healthy. My hair became so shiny and very tame (smooth).

I'm not too crazy about the smell, but it's not an offensive kind. I stopped using it after my hair regained it's full health because I started to feel too much moisture.

It's definitely a great repair shampoo, along with it's conditioner. They work wonders together for dry hair.

I bought this and the conditioner on a whim and I'm happy I did! I have very dry hair, to the point where I HAVE to use a conditioner daily or I can't even get a comb through my hair. It works wonderfully and smells incredible, I used it on my 6 year old daughter as well and I just wanted to smell her hair all night. The price is very reasonable, I foresee this becoming a constant buy for me. Great Job, L'Oreal!

I bought this to try to maintain a smooth, glossy look to my graduated bob while keeping a budget. So far it's worked remarkably well. Until recently I've used salon brands almost exclusively, but this has converted me. It's certainly worked better than other "drugstore" brands I've tried.
The scent isn't my favorite, but it's not overwhelming and doesn't give me a headache. The product itself smooths my thick, slightly wavy hair, including a few stray wiry grays, without weighing it down or leaving it greasy.
Be sure to choose the proper formulation for your hair type - there are two, one for dry hair and another for very dry hair.

I tried this product because I was impressed by the television ads (very hard to impress me through television), and I love the ingredients. This shampoo is gentle and safe enough for any hair type, but is specialized for the difficult to manage and mildly-moderately damaged hair. I highly recommend using this shampoo at least twice a week!!
