I don't always wear make-up, so when I do the last thing I need is gloppy mascara. I have tried a few brands and find most of them too thick. I also tend to hate the applicators, especially if they tend to get that little glop of mascara on the end that always ends up leaving dots everywhere (ick).

So this mascara wins in those categories. It goes on thinner, with no clumps, a more natural look, separating the lashes and no gloppy end gunk. As some have said, what it doesn't do is leave you with a very heavy lash line. When I was younger that might have mattered, but not so much anymore- the fact that it finds all the lashes I do have is good enough for me. I would love something similar with just a little more volume for evening wear, but I'm afraid to stray now!

This is a great mascara to use everyday and it works well if you want to curl your lashes.

I really wanted to like this mascara because I was so pleased with the L'Oreal Voluminous formula in the black tube. But this mascara just didn't perform like I hoped. It does lengthen and give some definition to my lashes, but the so-called blackest black color was weak for my complexion(I am olive skinned with naturally black hair), the flimsy brush made application somewhat clumsy, and the texture was odd on my lashes after drying -- almost like a rubber sealant. In sum, I will stick with other mascaras after giving this a trial run.

I liked it at first, but probably will switch to another brand that is less likely to clump and more lengthening.

This is the best mascara I have found. I didn't give it 5 stars because it does clump a little. I have yet to find a mascara that doesn't.

The brush is a slim rubber shape that is super flexible so it won't scratch your eyelid.

This mascara really separates and doesn't clump, you'll definately need two coats to get volume and a bit of length, its does not give me super length or volume. But it not too natural that it looks like a nothing mascara either. It does give some definition, volume and length but its not super dramatic. This mascara does seem to have lengthening fibres too. For me it doesn't smudge or transfer during the day.

Like the fact that there are no harmful ingredients in this. No clumps or flakes. Only drawback is that is doesn't really add volume.

I was really impressed with this formula, especially after having to retrurn another mascarafrom the voluminous line.
The brush is the thin plastic kind you see on many defining mascaras. Not my favorite, beacuse it doesn't stay stiff against lashes. It might be worth re-purposing a brush from another bottle.
The formula is a middle ground between soft fluttery lashes of defined formulas and heavy clumped look of volume formulas. It stayed put overnight with a couple of stray smudges. It might flake a little if you need a lash comb.
It was difficult to remove; next time i will try the Black (as opposed to Blackest Black.)

i use it everyday. it does not smear,wears good,makes lashes longer.the brsh is a little on the flimsy side but can work with overall good.

Mascara is one thing I wear every day for a little extra volume and length. On the upside, this product does lengthen and define nicely. So if you're looking for long delicate lashes, you might like it. On the down side, it clumped right out of the gate. Maybe I got a bad batch. It did verylittle in the volume department. Also, I found it difficult to remove; not being a fan of heavy oil based make-up removers. Back to my old standard...sounds like "mash fast" :)
