My absolute favorite mascara, Max Factor 2000 Calorie, has been discontinued, so I've been searching for an adequate replacement. I wanted to love Loreal Voluminous. It goes on evenly and adds great fullness without clumping. You can even build up the coats and still have natural looking lashes and a big plus for me is that it comes off easily with soap and water. My only complaint is that this mascara smudges under my eyes by the middle of the day. I have very oily skin, so it may work great for those with normal or dry skin.

use to love this mascara but this last time I used it was terrible. very clumpy! my whole eyelashes were full of huge clumps. flakes afer a while and sticks so much on the brush. tried to clean the brush off and a total mess!

This mascara is so gloppy and hard to apply that I ended up throwing it out after two attempts to use it. I've been using mascara for over 40 years so I really don't think it was my technique that was at fault. I would never buy it again. Looks like I'm back to Cover Girl.

If you are allergic to Thimersol, this is the product for you! No more swolen, red, itchy eyes! I looked for months and so happy I came across this product.

Despite wiping excess product from the wand, this mascara was thick and clumpy. I had to use a clean brush to comb out the clumps, and still was not happy with the results. Clinique Long and Pretty Lashes is a much superior product. Every time I try a cheaper mascara I end up going back to that.

i've been looking for a new mascara like everyone else. i bought this after looking at many reviews from dif mags and supposed experts on a whim thinking it's so cheap what do i have to lose? i was suprised at how great my lashes were. they get super long and almost look fake. wish it added a bit more volume and the end didn't have extra stuff on it (each time i have to wipe it)...but hey, that's a small complaint for killer lashes!

I was looking for a mascara that doesn't smudge and which is easy to remove, but this isn't it. It starts to smudge within a few minutes of putting it on and it is very hard to remove. No way can you remove it with just soap and water as the label says. I looked like Ricky the Raccoon and I had to use eye makeup remover to get it off.

I've used lots of different mascara's in the 23 years I've been using them. From $3 up to $65. My usual is the YSL Volume or the Lancome Definicils,...but those are pricey. Sometimes I just don't want to spend that kind of cash,...so one day I decided to try this mascara. I have to say,....this is right up there with the pricey ones. The BEST non-department store mascara out there!
Wish it came in more colors and more richness in color,...that is one of the differences between the high end mascara's and the low end,...color depth and richness.

I love this mascara!!! It goes on evenly and does not leave clumps of mascara. It also makes my lashes look longer. It does not smudge and is easy to remove. I have told all my friends about this great drugstore find. I will definitely buy this mascara again.
