Comments about Lotrimin AF Antifungal Powder Aerosol Spray, Super Size, 4.6 oz:
Wonderful and stops itching immediately BUT used on open wound (ringworm), stings horribly. Suggest spraying on tissue or smooth cloth and then applying that for tender, open spots. Worth the quick sting for the quick cure! This and FungiSoap cleared it up after weeks of trying other cures.
Comments about Lotrimin AF Antifungal Powder Aerosol Spray, Super Size, 4.6 oz:
It's pretty good stuff and it works. I like it, but the problem is that it tastes absolutely terrible. So, when you're a chronic jock itch sufferer like I am this presents a problem because, well, anything that touches that groin area or on my feet comes back tasting just terrible. Rub my feet, suck on your fingers -- yuk.
It feels good and I used it for years, but lately I've switched to Triad Benzalkonium Chloride Towelettes. They are cheaper, easier to carry around (like little napkins you get after eating BBQ Ribs), and the are completely odorless or tasteless. They don't provide quite the immediate relif that this product does, but they seem to do a better job for me of getting rid of the problem.
Plus, odorless, tasteless, and you get 100 of them for under $4.00. Not that I don't buy this powder spray stuff any more because I do and I use it once a month becuase I like the way it feels, but the towels are better in a whole bunch of ways.
Shake can well and spray a thin layer over affected area twice daily (morning and night).
Supervise children in the use of this product.
For athlete's foot, pay special attention to spaces between the toes, wear well-fitting, ventilated shoes and change shoes and socks at least once daily.
For athlete's foot and ringworm use daily for 4 weeks; for jock itch, use daily for 2 weeks.
If condition persists longer, ask a doctor.
This product is not effective on the scalp or nails.
