Bought this for my husband with Alzheimer's because he was having trouble getting up & down from toilet. Easy to install,removed regular toilet seat for best fit, adds the needed height. Only drawback is opening is not quite as large as the regular toilet seat, so it will not work for men who urinate sitting down. Arms on the side snap in & out for easy removal if you need a wider area to sit. Wiping down daily with a Clorox wipe will eliminate any odors on the plastic seat.
