They don't taste amazing, but they are one of the lowest calorie/fat combo on the power bar market. Especially for women, if you're looking for a healthy bar that has a bit more meat on its bones than a Special K or other cereal bar, I'd definitely consider this one. Before a workout, or as a meal supplement, it's convenient when you have to run out the door and didn't have time to plan a meal. From my experience, this sample pack includes the best flavors of the Luna Bar series. If they could just pump in some more fiber and cut the fat a bit... Good for protein! This variety pack was a decent value but I think Luna bars are a little pricey in general (unfortunately the good stuff is always more). My favorite of these flavors is nutz over chocolate and peanut butter. The brownie is good but you have to be in a sweet tooth mood. The Peanut Butter Cookie and Caramel Nut Brownie are okay. My daughter loves the Lemon Zest and Smores. But for the the Luna bars in general taste better than any other bars I know of with similar calorie count/nutritional content.
