There does seem to be a break-in period where you learn for yourself just how to fold and tuck them for your personal best protection. Once I mastered that, I would never use disposables again. I immediately noticed a difference. Well worth the investment, if you are an average size or petite woman. I am a size 14/16, with larger upper thighs, and noticed quite a bit of shifting of the pad, especially the teeny and pantyliner size, which I cannot use altogether. The bigger ones were a little better, but it definately would not make me feel confident on medium to heavy flow days. Since I really wanted these for lightdays, daily protection, and to use with Diva Cup, overall they aren't working for me and my specific body type. I am trying another brand of cloth liners, and so far they are perfect for me. REVIEWS Reviewed by 16 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » 2/24/2012 Love these Pros

Comments about Lunapads Washable Cotton Menstrual Pads, Intro Kit, Pink, 1 Kit: I chose the Lunapads, because of irritation with disposable pads. They are much thinner than I originally thought they would be. I am extremely happy with these. I would easily reccomend these to anyone, and have! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review 2/2/2011 (2 of 2 customers found this review helpful) Pricey but good Pros

Comments about Lunapads Washable Cotton Menstrual Pads, Intro Kit, Pink, 1 Kit: Cloth is much more comfortable/not irritating compared to pads esp for women who tend to have a lot of spotting or long periods and have to wear pads almost all the time. But each Luna pad only comes with one or two liners and not good for heavy flow when you have to change often. It's quite pricey for pieces of cloth in a figure eight. Cons Best Uses Comments about Lunapads Washable Cotton Menstrual Pads, Intro Kit, Pink, 1 Kit: I bought these to try for a more "green" approach to the period. I was surprised that they are very soft and comfortable - much more so than disposable plastic pads. They also wash out much cleaner than I expected. I have just thrown them in the wash - cold water, and there is only the teensiest stain left over when they are clean. I use them at night, and they are great! Comments about Lunapads Washable Cotton Menstrual Pads, Intro Kit, Pink, 1 Kit: These pads are the softest yet most absorbent around. I was nervous about trying them so I ordered one and tried it overnight on the first (and worst) night of my period. To my pleasant surprise they kept everything clean and were so much more comfortable than the usual disposable pads. They also wash very well, keep their shape and softness. Came back to buy more and will recommend to friends (3 of 3 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Lunapads Washable Cotton Menstrual Pads, Intro Kit, Pink, 1 Kit: Very, very soft. The idea of going back now to disposable is less than appealing, I don't think I ever will. It's important to rinse them in cold water right after use, or soak them in cold water before you wash them. This will take the worst out of them even before washing. They do shrink a little bit, but it is cotton after all. They are very comfortable and easy to use. (2 of 2 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Lunapads Washable Cotton Menstrual Pads, Intro Kit, Pink, 1 Kit: These Lunapads are so soft! And, that they are organic is such a plus. Really worth the money. Mine have lasted through lots of washing, and just get softer every time they're run through the dryer. (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Lunapads Washable Cotton Menstrual Pads, Intro Kit, Pink, 1 Kit: I have been pleased with my Lunapads starter kit. I wish they were cheaper, but that's really my only complaint. I have experienced moderate to severe irritation over the years with disposable pads, with certain brands worse than others, but all irritating to some degree. I do have relatively light flow, and have found the pantyliner to be all I need on most days. Great product. (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful?
