I only used half of it and it did lighten my teeth somewhat, but they look shadowy. Be sure to roll a tissue and put it between your bottom lip and gums as saliva truly gathers there. It's rather difficult to keep your lips off your teeth after putting the whitener on prior to using the light and I think most of mine came off before I got my teeth ready for the light. I think you really have to use their whitening toothpaste as well to keep the affect. I would recommend it only if you can really make a big toothy grin before using the light to keep your lips from washing the whitener off.

While I haven't used it 10 times in a row, an application every two minutes, I would have thought using this product in conjunction with the toothpaste by the same company that there would be some change but I have not seen any.

A long while back my dentist said that a 1hr treatment would be $500. Yikes! Since then, needless to say, I've tried Rembrandt, PlusWhite, peroxide etc. with no results. Luster gave me excellent results in 3 treatments. 1hr is misleading tho,-each "1.Rinse, 2.Paint on Whitener, 3.Use UV light" is about 3min. in total. So if you can repeat those steps quickly, you are allowed up to 20 applications the 1st day which would result in approx 60min.(It's quick, no problem-really)I did 20x my first day within 1hr, 10x 2nd day and 5x the next. The results were amazing! My teeth looked 10yrs younger! My fear was that because of medication my discoloration were inside-out & it would not reach 'inside' but it did!With a coupon it cost $33. Depending on your situation,I,for myself will get a refill for $20 to finish the job-my teeth were pretty yellow.In total, it is WELL WORTH THE [$] instead of $500. Everybody notices the difference and I use both toothpastes as well for daily upkeep.Excellent product!

I received this as a gift, so I can't return it. What a waste of time and money. As others have stated the light wand does not work. I put in the batteries, pressed the on botton, the light came on and than turned off... I kept trying to no avail it does not work. Do not waste your money...buy crest white strips...works and so much easier to use.

Worked great for this price and this fast. My teeth and gums weren't sensative at all like the white strips make them. I really saw noticable results in less than a hour of use.

I have to say I really liked this product. I had an important meeting(Entire company Natl Meeting) coming up and I wanted white teeth. I bought the Luster kit because of the product name "One Hour", and the high end look of the packaging. Yes I am a sucker for a pretty package. I brought the product home and used it while I watched television. When I was done it had really worked. My teeth were brownish yellow from drinking coffee. After I used the product my teeth were not completely white but they looked far better than they had an hour earlier. I am hooked and will use the product again.

I was skeptical but it really worked great! I used it maybe 5 times in an hour and my teeth were much, much whiter!! I was impressed! The wand is kind of cheapo but it still works. I found my set on sale for [$] and couldnt pass it up! Glad I didnt!

I bought this product and could never get the battery case to open. After reading many reviews on the product, appears I am not the only one who has found the light wand to be a poorly constructed product. Disappointing given this is key to the product effectiveness. In the end, I threw the whole thing out. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Go for regular dental visits, brush your teeth as recommended & use whitening strips to combat daily stains from building up.

I usually don't purchase teeth whitening products because they are costly, messy, inconvenient and never seem to whiten as promised. I'm a smoker who also drinks lots of coffee so my teeth were getting pretty yellow. I have the top of my mouth capped so wanted to whiten just the bottom teeth. I used this for the first time last night and was suprised at the effectiveness after 20 applications. I may or may not have lightened 5/6 shades (it's hard to tell really) but they are definitely looking much whiter. I did have some sensitivity on my gums but applying vaseline to my inner lip and gums greatly reduced the discomfort.The system [$] is fairly expensive, but much cheaper than the dentist. I would recommend using if you are not expecting miracles and since I haven't found a product yet that does all it states it can do, this is a pretty safe bet.One final note: If you are not very careful to follow directions for battery insertion it could break. I had none of the problems like those stated by other users.
