This is a good product- similar to Carmex in smell but a bit slipperier in texture. Unfortunately my tube was defective, the nozzle that dispenses product kept coming out of the tube and getting stuck in the cap. It's difficult to use without the nozzle properly intact. Other than that, a good product.

i bought this thinking, it must be like all the most amazing lip balm ever.... it turns out, its a squeeze like,and about as effective as "lip smackers: not what i would get everyday. but when its used HOURLY, its great!!! carmex

This product IS pretty close to perfect, other than I prefer a more matte finish to my lips...and this leaves more of glossy look. However it comes in a balm formula as well...so I didn't have to look far for the solution!

I'm a lip-balm expert after multiple reconstructive surgeries on my face, with special attention to my lips. It's crucial for me to maintain the elasticity of that tissue. If it chaps, I'm miserable. Lypsyl has been the one product that consistently prevents trouble.

The original Lypsyl formula, my favorite, was out of stock so I gave this a shot. This packaging lacks the cute bee button. The consistency is petroleum jelly, not like the solid original, and it doesn't give that pleasant minty zing when applied. My biggest gripe is the applicator tip: The edges aren't tapered, so it doesn't glide.

All that said, however, the product works as well as the original. My lips are soft and hydrated. I apply every night at bedtime. I'll use up the tube, then return to the original.

Bought this on a whim and couldn't have been happier - definitely recommend. And a great minty scent/taste, too!

I usually opt for the fancier lip balms (like Fresh Sugar) but I'm totally addicted to this stuff. My husband prefers the solid version which I love too. It's lightly scented with eucaplytus which doesn't stick around too long. I really do think this is the best lip balm out there. We buy in multiples to keep at work and in different coats. Perfect for dehydrated lips from a hot office.
