Since I was in the office already and I wanted to try something new, I plunked down the money for this face wash. I am glad I did. The one bottle lasted a really long time---you only need a dime sized amount each day--and cleared my combination skin very well. It cleans and removes oil and makes skin feel fresh and clear but not overdried or tight and zapped like cheaper acne products can. I usually follow with a toner and a light spf for day and my combination skin feels smooth and normal for the day! I see this as a great product for more mature skin; I am in my late twenties and those cheaper acne cleansers and even Pro-Activ just don't cut it or they over-dry. This is a good part of an break-out preventing and skin-smoothing routine; I won't go back to other cleansers now! VS Most Liked Negative Review Warning to all rosacea ... I have rosacea and I ran out of my prescription cleanser so I thought I would try this until I saw my Doctor again. After reading all of the glowing reviews, I thought I would give it a try. Before using this product, my face was completely blemish-free. After two uses of this product I had four sores on my face the next day. I learned my lesson about reading labels - do not believe the advertising. This product contains Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate which is one of the worst things you can use on your face. And, the alcohols add irritation to the list as well. This is one more in a long line of beauty products using cheap ingredients, making false claims and stealing our money. Comments about M.D. Forte Facial Cleanser II, Soap-Free, Oil-Free with Glycolic Acid, 8 fl oz: I have combination skin w/ a tendency to break out. I am also concerned about preventing wrinkles and improving my skin's texture as I am in my mid-thirties and wasn't very good to my skin when I was young. My dermatologist recommended this to me and I love it! I have tried a bunch of other cleansers - mostly OTC and also Clinique, but this is worth it to me. I would say that the biggest benefits that I have noticed is better skin texture and I don't get breakouts. I have used the MD Forte Skin Rejuvenation Lotion afterwards in the past, but it didn't seem to moisturize enough. Now I use Neutrogena Oil Free Combination Skin lotion afterwards during the summer, and Neutrogena Oil Free Sensitive Skin during the winter when I need more hydration. That said I would like to have a night time moisturizer with glycolic acid, so I just purchased the MD Forte Level I Face Cream to try. Oh, my derm also recommended using a mild soap before using the MD Forte. I would imagine this is so the MD Forte can really penetrate the skin when you wash. Although the double wash was tough to get used to at first, it's an old habit now. And believe me, I like to look good, but I hate extra work that doesn't seem worth it. The double wash does seem to make this product more effective. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about M.D. Forte Facial Cleanser II, Soap-Free, Oil-Free with Glycolic Acid, 8 fl oz: this i use this in my skin care regimen as my morning cleanser and its abslutely great, my skin a a soft as a babys again. i have mild acne and have some scaring so the glycolic acid helps alot, i used to use proactiv which was good but then its began to be way to harsh and my skin started looking older, my skin was uneven, rough and dry and im only 19 so my freinds recommended MD forte cleansers she actually has each of them lol. so i gave it a try and its awsome,. this cleanser is like a puting lotion on your face so some may not like it, but honestly who cares as long as its cleans ands it makes ur skin better! Comments about M.D. Forte Facial Cleanser II, Soap-Free, Oil-Free with Glycolic Acid, 8 fl oz: My dermatologist recommended this stuff to me about 8 years ago and I've been hooked ever since. This is not a makeup remover or face wash in the normal sense. It's basically a mild acid treatment to promote skin cell turnover. I use other stuff to remove my makeup first, then rub this all over my face and let it sit for a minute to do its magic. It does sting a little if your skin is already too dry or if, for example, you just finished microdermabrasion. But it WORKS and it helps skin tone, texture, acne, and fine lines and wrinkles. I'll never be without it. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review 11/14/2010 Best Product By Far Pros

Comments about M.D. Forte Facial Cleanser II, Soap-Free, Oil-Free with Glycolic Acid, 8 fl oz: The first time I was introduced to this product was when I had a facial at a salon. She used Cleanser I with less glycolic acid. I bought it from them because I liked how soft my skin was afterwards, and how evenly toned my face appeared. I was happy to find it here for less and now I have moved up to Cleanser II with a slightly higher glycolic acid content. There is not much difference between the two as I can see or feel as I apply it. Time will tell... Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Cons Best Uses Comments about M.D. Forte Facial Cleanser II, Soap-Free, Oil-Free with Glycolic Acid, 8 fl oz: My daughter and I started using this product about 6 years ago while living in Texas. We love it! We could see a difference in our skin early on and other people would make comments on how good our skin looked. She was less prone to break outs and it made the texture of my skin smoother (I had teenage acne and hated my skin). We bought it at the dermatologist office. After moving out of state, we couldn't find it until I found this site, thank goodness! I highly recommend it! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Best Uses Comments about M.D. Forte Facial Cleanser II, Soap-Free, Oil-Free with Glycolic Acid, 8 fl oz: This is an excellent product. I've been looking for something to help with my adult acne. I've tried products ranging from the cheap to the very pricey. Nothing has worked, until this. My acne was mostly located on my chin, so I focused on that area. Use this all over my face. I do have to wash my face with a mild soap first to remove makeup. Some reviews state that it takes to long, but I just put it on while I'm doing something else and leave it on a couple of minutes. I've been using it two weeks, and have already received several compliments about how great my skin looks. Two of those people just bought the product! Comments about M.D. Forte Facial Cleanser II, Soap-Free, Oil-Free with Glycolic Acid, 8 fl oz: Have never posted a review here before, but feel compelled to do so for MD Forte products. A dermatologist recommended this to me back when I was 20 yrs old, but I only used it long enough to get thru the starter set, as at the time I couldn't afford such expensive products. Recently, a plastic surgeon recommended glycolic products to me, and I remembered MD Forte. Comments about M.D. Forte Facial Cleanser II, Soap-Free, Oil-Free with Glycolic Acid, 8 fl oz: my dermatologist recommended this instead of the Neutrogena acne wash that I had used for 5+ years. I use this to prevent adult acne. It doesn't dry my face like the Neutrogena product did. The price at Drugstore.com is better than I found anywhere else.
