I was transitioning off of a walker and didn't want to use crutches. This gave me much more support than a regular cane, especially when going up and down stairs. If I ever have a situation where I need crutches again, I will order a second one of these to use instead of the crutches.

I had a 'slim and fall' accident where I needed surgery on my ankle. Doctor suggested I should be on crutches or a cane that can handle extra weight with more forearm support. I purchased a pair of crutches and at my first visit to the physical therapist I saw this cane and immediately purchased a pair and returned those old style crutches. At my follow-up visit with my Doctor and for x-rays, the whole staff was so intrigued with this cane as they had never seen anything like it before and the doctor was especially surprised. I told him I bought it here after my PT had one in his office. I highly recommend this new and innovative cane as it definitely gives the support you need. I only have another week to use it. I'm now down to only using one cane instead of the pair and I gave the other one to my grandmother to replace the cane she has been using for years....so far she likes it too.
