My 2-year old is a side sleeper and this pillow helped make that comfortable for her. It's a great design and I love how it stays puts--it's lightweight and easy for her to move but its flat-back design and the natural weight of the perforated latex helps it to stay put during any tossing and turning. My daughter's not yet 3 but I'm here to buy the next pillow up--I think she needs more support when sleeping on her side. I'm giving this pillow 5 stars because it's a great pillow but it's important to know that it took a couple weeks for that very natural but strong latex scent to fade and disappear. My daughter never complained about it but I don't think I could have my face against something that strong. Truthfully, I'm not exagerrating here, I could smell it from the hallway outside her room in the first few days/week however the scent did eventually fade.

I was looking for a pillow for my 2-year-old daughter that I could wash daily and would still keep its shape (unlike the three other pillows I bought for her, which I had to throw away after washing because the stuffing was so messed up). This one is PERFECT! I LOVE, love, love this pillow so much that I bought another one! Don't waste your money on ANY other first pillow for your toddler! It's great for travel, too, because you can roll it up into a LARGE freezer bag (like using a travel Space Bag), squeeze the air out of it, and pack it in your suitcase without taking up much room. It stays nice and cool for your toddler also. You just have to make sure you dry it well enough after washing, because it seems to take a while to dry. Since I purchased two of these, I wash and dry one, then put that clean one on her wire closet rack to dry completely, while I use the other one. Then, I keep switching them back and forth.
