I have a 20 lb pug and this mat is plenty of room for him. He loves the softness and welcomed it quickly. It will be great in the summer - cooling and in the winter - warming.

I purchased this crate pet bed [...]. I am very happy that I did.It was a fare value & I wanted to replace the lumpy plaid pet bed next to the sliding glass door where our 55 lb boxer mix likes to lay dawn. We have tile floors wall to wall and they are cold & hard so we provide pet beds in several places in the house so he can lie down in the rooms we are in. I didn't have high expectations but was pleasantly surprised. The picture doesn't do it justice; the honey color has the shine of a healthy animal coat & doesn't matt like the artificial lambs wool crate mats. I used thin as a con but it may not be fair to say because it isn't any thinner than other similar products. Our travel crate is deep in the base, so I have to fold a thin blanket or towels to flatten out the crate mat but that has been the case with the other mats I have purchased.Most importantly, our dog likes it. I will be purchasing another because they look good & serve our purposes well.

Very happy with this item and price. I am using it as a pet bed rather than the suggested use as a crate mat. I even purchased a second spare when this wears out.
