I had a long fingernail break and split down to the very end of my thumb.I was really scared because there was no way I could cut down that deep because of the split almost down to the cuticle.I applied the Hoofmaker as much as possible and it healed the split completely;I was very astonished and happy :)!! I will continue to use it for my nails and hands.

After 18 years in Colorado, my hands still get very dry and my cuticles will crack, typically in late fall and all through winter. Lotion is a must, especially after washing my hands. I have been using this product consistently for 2 weeks now, and I am not impressed in its moisturizing capabilities. I do believe it strengthens nails, as I have seen a difference. It soaks in quickly, non-greasy, which is a big plus. This product would be great during late spring and summer. I rarely use lotion during this time of year.

Comments about Mane 'n Tail Hoofmaker Hand & Nail Therapy, 6 Ounces:

My scalp and face are crazy-oily but I'm so terribly hard on my hands. I've taught myself to USUALLY wear cleaning gloves when using abrasives but I never wear them when doing dishes (I don't have a dish washing machine). So, in the Midwest, as you can imagine, I get very dry and cracked skin on my hands and tons of cuticle issues. This is lightweight and absorbs QUICKLY; however, for my needs, I reapply several times a day. Others may not need to do. What's sort of funny, is I bought this based upon a manly-man friend's recommendation! He swears by it.

I'm not a fan of the way this smells... I've had people comment on how they love the smell, but to me, it's way too strong. And it leaves your hand feeling a little rubbery? It's hard to describe. But once the product absorbs, my hand does feel softer. But! It's not really all that moisturizing. I mainly bought it cause people were raving about how this helped their nails. Honestly, I don't know. my nails feels and looks the same.

This cream is of no use.
I have dry hands, especially in the winter, and this product is not moisturizing enough.
The worst part is when it's on my hands I feel the need to wash it off!!! It's tacky!

This is the only hand cream my husband will use because it is not greasy and it does not have a flowery smell. I order him three bottles at a time.
