As soon as I took it out of the package I was stunned by how cheaply made it was. I didn't expect it to be stainless steel, but for heaven's sake, the plastic this thing is made out of has to be the lowest grade of plastic available. I could easily put it in my hand and squeeze hard and break it -- that's how cheap it is. It's going back, I wouldn't dream of using it on myself.

Have been looking at unsightly back hair in the mirror for a while. Finally decided to take the step to get rid of it. Mangroomer works like a charm. Now I'm kicking myself for not trying this sooner. Easy to use and does the job. Make sure you have a few mirrors to help you see what you are doing. Also recommend you do this somewhere that is easy to clean up. I put a few newspapers underneath me and then just folded them up and put in the trash.

Works fine. Just wish they would make the quality of the plastic better. Not really sure how to keep it clean, because afer a while the blades start to rust.

I threw this in the trash after the second try. It's build quality is no better than a disposable plastic party-favor. The cheap blades were not sharpened precisely. The first time, it provided a terrible shave. The second time, it caused me to bleed. Good idea, but built to very low standards.

Slight irritation but not that bad. It's pretty cheaply made, quite a rip off for [$] however it does work as intended and the reach is perfect. I have longer hair and it really did a good job.

It worked ok but hard to use on your own back. I had to have my wife trim the back hair because I couldn't see to do it myself. It irritated the skin leaving red marks in places. I would still use the mangroomer except on the third use it started smoking and quit working. It got so hot that the plastic actually melted in the battery compartment.

This is so easy to use!! With the extended handle, you can reach everywhere on your back! The plastic is kind of cheap, but then again this is so reasonably priced that if I had to buy a new one each year I wouldn't mind. I have used this for 3 months now with no issues!!
