In the past i used powder alot and used this one in particular because it is effective and cruelty free. I have used other Manic Panic items before, they can be pricey but they are worth it.

Anemic is a great shade for pale complexions. It's the perfect shade for my warm, light complexion. This powder provides enough coverage for me without using a liquid foundation. It's lightweight and not cakey. I really like it.
I like the compact but it is larger than other compacts that I have used in the past. But, the compact seems more luxurious than other "drugstore" powders.

I usually prefer liquid to powder, but when I go out I like to have a more silky finish and not feel bound in by how heavy liquid can be. I'm also pale with freckles, and with this I can either cover them up pretty well or use just enough where my freckles still peek through. It doesn't feel heavy, as though you dipped your face in a big of flour and is long lasting.
