This little machine packs quite a punch. The many adjustments to the level of white noise produced makes this the only unit you'll ever need. The long cord allows unit to be placed exactly where you want it, even outside your office door, if needed.

My wife and I live next to a highway. We had previously been running a box fan at night to provide enough white noise to sleep, but this drew more power and took up more floor space than necessary.

After research, I decided on the Marpac/Dohm noise generator. It was a little pricey, but all the reviews swore by it. When it arrived, it was smaller than we expected, but boy, it works like a champ! The noise is full and even, and we slept great. There is not quite as much variability to the volume and tone controls provided, but we found we didn't need them.

I turn this on when going to bed to help mask the ringing in my ears. As long as I don't have my ear to the pillow, it works wonderfully and helps me fall asleep quicker. It took a little getting used to, but now I like it.

We live on a main street and needed something that would block off noise, this sleep machine is doing it. This is our second machine, the first is still in great condition but purchased an extra one for our guest room. It really helps to get a good night sleep!

This sound machine is the best!! We have to sleep with a fan year round, just for the noise. Living in New England, the winters get pretty cold to have a fan going. This machine is compact, so it doesn't take up a lot of space and it works great to block out any outside noises when you need to sleep or just relax. It's so worth it!!
