This product was purchased as a reward for a job well done for my 11 year old ($700 in sales for Scouting event). Setup was easy. The crossbow looks cool and does shoot quite a distance when it works. The problem is not the machine, but the marshmallows. When you jam the mallow in the shooter they can become sticky causing the bow now to fire. The chamber can become sticky, etc. When this happens that bow will not shoot. You can wash it out with hot water, but you have to wait until it is "completely" dry before sticking another marshmallow in the chamber. We have only had it one day. I am going to purchase a bag of new marshmallows and suggest to my son that each marshmallow can only be shot out one time to eliminate the chance for "sticky situations"! Patience parents.

This marshmallow crossbow is so much fun and easy to use. We have gotten hours of enjoyement out of it. The only difficulty is keeping everyone from eating up the ammo!

When I first shot off the marshmallow crossbow, I didn't realize I hadn't assembled the strings correctly.
However, once I figured out MY mistake, the crossbow worked like a dream!
I had purchased it for a non-profit company I work for, and the other staff members and I had an afternoon of fun shooting this across our gym. (The marshmallows shot nearly 3/4 of the length of the gym, with fairly decent accuracy.)
Great fun, but you definitely need adults to put it together!

My nephew loved it after we got it together properly. It wasn't hard to assemble we just had people trying to assemble it without reading the directions.

I got this marshmallow shooter for my cousins and they absolutely love it!! They play with each other having little marshmallow fights. The best part, I can purchase the ammo anywhere!!
