It seemed so easy! Better directions could've helped -- we used some stale mini marshmallows because we had _stale_ ones. The guns wouldn't shoot -- we had loaded everything correctly and nothing would come out of the barrel. We switched over to a new bag of soft and squishy marshmallows and voila, those babies shot over 25 feet across the room! Guns are easy to use and with no batteries they run on pumping power! Older children could still do it, and sometimes two marshmallows come out at a time. It takes too much strength for a younger child to shoot them out. Once in a while, a marshmallow jams and rips and makes the shooter sticky. Then you have to quit and clean out the shooter before resuming. But it does work! So if you don't mind the frequent jams, then it might just be for you. I think that teens and college kids would especially love shooting each other. Comments about Marshmallow Fun Company Cheetah Marshmallow Shooter, Ages 6+, 1 ea: Bought 4 of these for the granddaughters and they were really excited when they opned them, but that was short lived. Couldn't get them to fire marshmallows. Only way they would work is when you would point them to the floor. I should have bought the bow and arrow ones for the girls like i did for the grandsons as they worked great
Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Marshmallow Fun Company Cheetah Marshmallow Shooter, Ages 6+, 1 ea: bought last year everyone wanted one so this year they will all get one

Comments about Marshmallow Fun Company Cheetah Marshmallow Shooter, Ages 6+, 1 ea: I bought these as Christmas Presents for all of my family. When my grandchildren opened them last, it seemed that they were more excited with these than ALL the other toys. I had mine loaded & ready & marshmallows began to fly. Cleanup is easy - just eat the evidence. You can also play another game with these when you are reloading - you can all see who can put the most mini marshmallows in their mouth at one time. Occasionally, one will jam, usually a marshmallow falls in sideways when you are loading. I recommend eating the marshmallows until you find the jam and carefully watch the marshmallows when you are reloading to make sure they go in the chamber correctly (or you may have to eat them again).

Comments about Marshmallow Fun Company Cheetah Marshmallow Shooter, Ages 6+, 1 ea: Bought this for my 8yr old neice for Christmas because her 10yr old brother was getting the skull & crossbones model marshmallow shooter. Christmas day first thing out in the freezing cold had to have a marshmallow war in Great-Grandmas back yard! She definately held her own and had a great time doing so! Great present for kids as long as you dont mind little marshmallows all over the back yard! Pros

Comments about Marshmallow Fun Company Cheetah Marshmallow Shooter, Ages 6+, 1 ea: My 5 and 8 year old nephews were shocked that I would buy them "girl" toys. The Cheeta is a pretty pink gun. Both the Cheeta and Zebra show a girl on the package, no boys anywhere. I didn't think of a Marshmallow Gun as being gender specific but the packaging was clearly targeted to attract girls. And adolescent boys do care. Once we convinced them to play with the guns they decided they were okay but not great fun. Definately not worth the price although they enjoyed eating the marshmallows (not included).
