I am taking this as a supplement during pregnancy based on my doctor's suggestion. She actually prescribed another brand called Slow FE, which costs like ten times the price of this product, but the nurse said this is like the generic version of it, so I took it. Assuming it's really doing what it's supposed to do, this is definitely better than the regular iron supplement I took when I had my first one. The side effect is much less pronouced.

Product seems to work. My blood test results for iron are in the normal range when I take it daily and are not if I don't. Doesn't upset my stomach, which is a real plus.

Comments about Mason Natural Slow Release Iron, Tablets, 60 ea:

I have had to take iron supplements before and had a very hard time finding one that was easy to digest, did not upset my stomach, did not cause constipation, etc. This pill is great. No ugly side effects. Yay. My iron level at last blood test had gone up to where I needed to stop taking them!

I take one pill everymorning. They are small and easy to swallow. My doctor recommended that I take these pills and I have been for about 3 or 4 months now.

I would never buy a health supplement that does not tell it's strength either on the bottle or ingredient list.
