You put it on and you blend it in with your finger tips, put your powder over it if you use powder and it stays on and looks good all day long. you don't have the mess of liquid makeup on your fingers or dripping onto your clothes. Now since last June in 2009 I started getting rumers that my make up would not be sold here in the US anymore. I didn't believe it and When I ran out of my color I went to my local [...] and found out that it was true and could not find my shade. I was devastated. I started to panick and my husband and I drove to another [...] that was 50 miles away., they still had some of the panstick makeup, but not my shade, So I went ahead and bought the 2 they had which were a shade lighter than what I had. I then decided to go on line and see if I could find my shade, I wasn't able to find the Deep Olive shade I used and went with the Sun tone shade which has a little bit more of orangey look to it but it still blends out when I put my powder on top. I work as a Beauty Advisor at our local drugstore and have had numerous women asking where to find Max Factor panstick and I have to tell them we dont carry it anymore. I have told them they might can find it on line and order it. I just don't know what I am going to use when I use up what I have bought. I would buy it forever why did they Quit selling it. I always have wonderful coments on how my makeup looks and always tell people what I use and now I have to start looking for something else. It's a lot lighter than I had expected when I first tried it--not the heavy consistency that I thought a panstick kind of makeup might be. It's also important to make sure you get a color that matches well or you could look a little "maskey." It also helps to wear a primer or moisturizer underneath to help it smooth out or you might see some "cakey" look. Because this foundation comes in a tube, it works great to keep in your purse for quick touch-ups. I used this when working as film extra in Hawaii and I am so happy this product is still available to me now in my older years. I love the coverage and creaminess of this make up and I am so happy to find it through Drugstore.com It comes right to the mail box, is very well packaged and so easy to use.
