the Max Factor line is no longer available in America except for the few remaining items on Drugstore.com. I bought this because I can no longer find the Max Factor Lasting Performance Foundation, that I have loved and used for more than 15 years. This Pan-Stik is nothing like the Lasting Performance, it's much thicker, harder to apply and feels heavy and greasy on my face all day. I live in Europe temporarily and can still by the Lasting Performance... but it's about 15 euros ([$] a bottle). It's truly a shame that Max Factor, now owned by Cover Girl, has decided to go with their Cover Girl line in America instead. There is a big difference in quality.

I loved the large size of this concealer and the powdery scent! I ordered two shades and though this one comes close to my skin color, it still looks too tan on my fair face. I love how creamy and smooth it is and it's so easy to blend and apply with a foundation brush. I mix it with a neutralizer to achieve a lighter tone that this concealer gives me on it's own.

I'm a make up snob. I don't generally go for drugstore makeup, especially foundation. I would not normally buy MF products or a cream concealer. But a after seeing this product get 4 star reviews by hundreds of people, for several years now, I decided to take a gamble with my [$] and go for it. I have been breaking out around my mouth area and needed some extra coverage. I normally use high end liquid foundation, but found that for my acne prone chin, it was not doing the trick. I thought, worst comes to worst, I can use the pan stick as concealer. I was not remarkably impressed with the product when I first saw it. The packaging was okay, and the color texture looked very ordinary. When I applied it on my face the next morning, HOLY COW, I was shocked. I gently pressed the stick against areas of my face, making these coin like marks. For more problem areas, I applied a little more. I used a buffing brush to work the product into my skin. I was so amazed. I have used foundations that were either too shiny or too matte. But the MF pan stick made my skin look radiant. It did a good job hiding the blemishes too. It blends effortlessly, the texture is so nice that I can use it as an under eye concealer without it creasing. I can use this one product on my entire face. It's so nice and portable too, that I can pop this in my bag, throw in a brush and do touch ups in the middle of the day. Couldn't do that with my liquid foundation. The consistency is creamy, but not overly so. My skin does not feel sticky or heavy. I use minimal setting powder and the product does not budge at all throughout the day. I am so impressed with this [$] product that I came back and ordered 4 more because now, I'm freaking scared it will be out of stock. HOLY GRAIL STUFF.

I have used Pan-Stik for many years, as overall coverage and for diminishing red areas or any problem spots. With sunspots or agespots, Pan-Stik is ideal!
