It has a nice, creamy consistency and goes on very smoothly. I think this brand has the most natural looking medium and light brown colors as well. It's also quite easy to be exact being the tip is very small and thin. You do have to watch out, though, that you do not apply too much pressure or the tip will break off. It's not expensive and it's a twist-up mechanism, but if you break it too much, you'll find out real quick that you're suddenly out of product. My only conern with this would be with the light brown color. It seems to get too soft too easily. When this happens, like when it's a bit too warm, the whole tip can break off in one big clump on your brow. Other than this, it is definitely my favorite! Either way, if you are not prone to breakouts, this should work just fine...if you are, just beware of possible breakouts. Cons Best Uses Comments about Maybelline Define-A-Brow Eyebrow Pencil, Medium Brown, 1 ea: This eyebrow pencil is awesome. I have black hair and the medium brown color is just perfect. It's not too dark or too light. I love that the pencil is automatic, the tip is really thin and it lasts a long time. This glides on smooth and and is easy to apply. The color is long wearing and you cannot beat the price. My old department store eyebrow pencil would cost me $30 for one so when they discontinued it I was desperate. I found this pencil and the price was so low I said what the heck, I'll try it. I'm so glad I did, this is by far the best eyebrow pencil.

It does work really well, in fact, I wish I hadn't experienced the breakouts :( I don't know what happened but the innermost part of my eyebrows started to breakout which is really rare for me...there's nothing else that would have caused this so I hope I'm not blaming the wrong thing. This allows me to create such a natural brow, I get compliments all the time. It's texture and thin line is perfect, and there are so many colors, I buy lighter and darker browns to mix them to create depth.
