I have been coming back to this mascara. I have tried other ones for lengthen + define natural and sensuous look and I always am coming back to Mayballine Define-A-Lash. There is truely no clumpiness and a beautiful definition, something very hard to find. Other brands use the same slogan but simply don't deliver.

I love this! I seen that some people below me were having a problem w/ clumping? I've never had that problem. I started using this a couple years ago when I found it in my moms makeup kit lol! It lengthens, separates & DEFINES! I loooovvveeeeeee the silicone brush too! (: This is the best drugstore mascara I have ever tried, besides the loreal telescopic! The only thing that this mascara lacks is volumizing but I dont really care about volumizing it dont bother me, so it's great! (:

I have been searching for a great lengthening mascara and decided on this one after reading several positive reviews. It does a good job, but I wasn't blown away as some of the other reviewers appeared to have been. I do like the brush and I agree with the previous reviews that it does not clump. Overall, I was pleased with it but had expected more.

This is my second time buying this mascara. I really like it. Typically when I buy mascara, a couple of weeks into using the product, I find it doesn't do what it used to do. With this mascara, the tube that I bought a couple of months ago still works as well as it did when I first bought it. It doesn't clump on the brush and therefore doesn't clump on your lashes. I normally need to wear eye shadow and a small amount of liner, but with this mascara, I could go with just mascara (and concealer, etc.). Also, my make-up looks good even at the end of the day when I'm exhausted. My concealer and other make-up may have worn off (I don't re-apply at all throughout the day), but the mascara is still there.

IMy favorite thing about this mascara is the wand. It's a little flexible and the bristles are smaller which allows me to do my bottom lashes without getting it all over underneath. I have great control, and can do little sparse ones without the mess. I noticed that some said it is clumpy. I don't have that prolem. When I remove the wand from the tube I slide it out on the edge to remove excess mascara, so I have no clumping problems. Its dries fast and lengthens. I find it simple and easily to manipulate and use.

If this gave my lashes a little more volume, I'd think it was perfect. It does a fantastic job of separating and lengthening my short, very curly lashes.

Have tried MANY mascaras, cheap and expensive. This one really works for me and it happens to be inexpensive.

Great product. It is the only mascara Ive used in forever. It doesn't clump, applies evenly, and gives my little eyelashes a long dramatic yet natural look.

In the search for a lengthening and somewhat volumizing mascara I tried this along with Covergirl Lash Blast Volume and L'Oreal Double Extend. This one comes in last in my comparison testing. This mascara creates a very spiky look as it clumps several lashes together when applied. Once I separated my lashes with a brush/wand I found that this mascara was okay. It lengthend somewhat - not amazingly like Double Extend does nor as well as the Lash Blast. Some reviewers have had issues with the silicon brush on this mascara - I didn't have any problems with application or reinserting it into the tube. In fact, I rather liked the feel of the silicon on my lashes - it just doesn't do a good job in separating the lashes. This mascara wore well and did not smudge or flake; it also washed off easily with just soap and water. However both the Lash Blast and Double Extend were FAR better for lengthening and the Lash Blast was a better volumizer.
