When I learned about BB creams I started high and went for the expensive brands. I was very disappointed--heavily clogged pores were the least of the many problems this experience was adorned with.
I then decided to buy the authentic BB cream--one of the Korean-produced BB creams, since this is what started all this BB-cream rave in the first place. Result-greasy, pasty, grayish mess on my skin.
I kept exploring and purchased L'Oreal Youth Code BB cream. The result - I finally learned what is like to live with acne. With systic acne for that matter. I never had acne before in my life. Then I tried Garnier BB cream. While I don't have much negative to say about it, I don't have much positive to say about it either. Except one thing - it gives VERY good coverage. At this point I was done with BB creams. And then I tried Maybelline BB cream at my girlfriend's. I finally understood the reason for her glowing, dewey, airbrused skin apperance. From that day, I am a great fan of this product. With this product on, my skin looks dewey, even-toned, with healthy glow, and it takes less than 2 minutes to achieve this effect when using Maybelline BB cream. Very easy to apply! Very effective - it really does convert your skin into a beautiful, healthy, glowing verson of it. And, what's very important - it does not cause breakouts (big YAY!). Still, make sure you remove it very thoroughly at the end of the day. The only thing that I am not a fan of when it comes to Maybelline BB cream - the tube gets messy and starts leaking rather quickly. I normally don't like the pump versions of packaging, but I believe this one would benefit from it.

I purchased Maybelline's BB Cream a few months ago after seeing a TV commercial. I had just thrown out some old foundation and was looking for a replacement; I didn't even know what BB Cream actually was! I forgot about this for a while then re-discovered it in my makeup bag during my recent quest to find the "perfect" BB Cream. Long story short, this BB Cream is on par with CoverGirl's product: lightweight with minimum coverage. My favorite so far is L'Oreal Studio Secrets Professional Magic B.B. Cream, but I have seen the benefit in using something else for a natural, daytime look. CoverGirl seems to blend better with my skin tone than the Maybelline version; just personal preference. As I mentioned in another review, I don't mind alternating between two different BB Creams based upon the occasion, time of day, condition of my complexion, etc. That being said, Maybelline works fine but I will probably stick with CoverGirl when I want the lighter coverage.

This is not what I was expecting from this product. I have used Maybelline products for years and for the most part have liked everything that I have gotten ,I think this would have to be the one item that I did not like . It does not last , I had to set it with powder so as the day wore on caused it to look powdery and cakey. Broke my face out, coverage wasn't good at all , it was almost like I had just put on a moisturizer instead of a tinted moisturizer and I applied it with a stippling brush so it should have applied in a thicker yet still natural coverage and yet it was like I had applied nothing at all . I would not repurchase nor recommend buying this item.

This product made my skin smooth from the first application. The next day, my pores looked smaller. It gave me nice, light coverage and did not make my skin greasy. I add a drop of Neutrogena liquid SPF 55 for extra sun protection.

I have extremely sensitive skin and have reactions to many products, but this one is excellent. It "fades" your trouble spots NOT covers them as a thick, opaque foundation or a tinted moisturizer with very little opacity would do. Its existence on your skin is invisible and I will never again be a victim of that fake "made up" look that we all abhore. Natural is back "in" and has actually never been "out". I use the fair color and my skin is very fair. Great product for my 65 year old skin!!!

This is the second BB Cream I've tried and I'm starting to realize that these are not going to be the miracles they promise to be. The first one was thick and lumpy and generally horrible. I almost gave up but then this came out and I thought I'd try again--for this price, why not. Anyway, this one is the opposite of my other experience. It's very, very thin and feels like I have nothing on my face. I would love that if it looked like I have something on, but it really doesn't. It's one tiny notch up from wearing nothing. I'd be fine with that as well, but this also doesn't seem to moisturize or provide any of the other benefits.

It's fine for me on the weekends, but normal old tinted moisturizers are better and I think I'll just stick to those from now on.

I bought the light shade, and it matched my skin tone pretty well. I've light skin, but there are many girls who have lighter skin tone than mine. So, if you've fair skin, the light color might be too dark. It evened skintone fine, but the evening comes from the pigments, not because of the effects of the products.
I don't think this is too moisturizing. I've normal/dry skin (thanks to acne treatments), so I need more moisture than this can provide. Someone who doesn't need a real moisturizer can do well with this.
I like my skincare products to smell normal or not to have any smell at all. This product has a very yucky smell. Maybe it's like rubber or silicone? It seems like I've encountered the smell many years ago in a Maybelline liquid foundation I really disliked. Those fans of Maybelline's makeup might know what i'm referring to.

This product sucks! It does not give off any coverage and looks super greasy on the skin. (I have combo/oily skin)I tried to build up the coverage and it does not work. I would not repurchase this!

I was so excited to try this product because traditional foundations cause me to break out. One of the selling features for me was that it was supposed to hydrate. It didn't. You could see flaky skin was I was done applying. Maybe it will work for someone with normal skin but be careful if you have dry skin.
