Comments about Maybelline Dream Matte Powder Compact, Light 4-5, .32 oz: I've been using Maybelline Dream Matte compact for about 4 years and I really like it. The only thing I don't like is the applicator sponge that comes with it, which is no big deal because I swap it out for a fresh cotton ball with every application. The cotton ball allows better coverage and application, and does not contaminate my compact with "old face germs". It helps cover redness/blotchiness that my foundation doesn't totally hide, and leaves a "dream" matte finish that makes my skin look and feel soft and younger. Pros Cons

But it was only greasy, and it made my skin very itchy. I didn't like this at all. I bought this with a mascara, so I got this as its half price. It was an only good part.

The coverage is not for people with acne, it does not cause acne as far as I am concerned, but it will not cover up any acne blemishes rather make them more visable. It is great for oily skin and I have dry skin.

Comments about Maybelline Dream Matte Powder Compact, Light 4-5, .32 oz: I decided to try this Dream Matte powder since I use the Maybelline shine-free powder already for my oily skin. I really liked the feel of this powder. It gives a really smooth matte look when I apply with a fluffy brush to set my foundation. I use the puff for touch ups, but actually bought some replacement puffs at a local store which are pretty close to the one it comes with but they are pink. I think this gives a light coverage which could be buildable if desired. Overall, I say this is a keeper and I will use the rest of it. I also like the design of the package as it keeps the puff off the powder for sanitary reasons. I would recommend to others for sure. This hasn't caused me any brkouts thus far which in my book is really important.
