I have been using this particular mascara for 10+ years so feel free to call me naive. I watched my mother wear it forever so I never questioned the integrity of the product... That is until I tried "the others." I find myself constantly reappyling this eyeliner, maybe every 2 hours. I always bought the blackest black and it glides on well but that's about it. I go apply my makeup at about 7:20 am, by around 9:00 am at work I look in the mirror and it's quite frightening what will happen if I don't remember to constantly blot under my eyes. Mind you I live in Connecticut, this happens no matter the temp outside, more so of course in the summer, but nevertheless all year round. I forever thought that the constant maintenance came with the territory, after all I've tried worse eyeliners.

I tried a product by Urban Decay recently and I haven't looked back. This stuff is like a joke in comparison.

I got the dark brown color but it's a little light and has red undertones which doesn't look good on my brows because it doesn't look like a natural dark brown.

However, I do use this as an eyeliner to put on the waterline and to tightline. This provides a very natural look that doesn't look harsh like stark black eyeliners can sometimes look. It's not very creamy but it is easy to apply. This doesn't smudge or run, which is really great.

This goes on nicely and is not heavy looking. I have tried other brow pencils and it looks like I've applied a crayon to my eyebrows. I've been using this product for years. When I've tried others just to see if they work well, I've always gone back to this product. My only negative comment would be the color. I use the dark brown and it is a little too light for me. Black is too harsh, so I can't switch to that.

Getting older and eyebrows are fading-I AM BECOMING MY MOTHER! My mom used this product all her life and I'm glad they still make it-go Maybelline!

I was looking for a cheaper version of my favorite eyebrow liner: the MAC Brow Liner in Stud (the darkest brown). Unfortunately, this color is actually medium to light brown. So, I would only recommend if my friend had light brows...

I have been using maybeline dark brown eyeliner for years have tried other brands, such as MAC, Loreal, Este Lauder and the best is maybeline. I burn the tip a little using a lighter so it will go on smoothly, it doesn't smudge and stays on all day. Everyone always askes me what liner i use and compliment my eyes and how fresh the liner stays on. I love it. Definietly recommend it to all the ladies out there.
