I use Maybelline Expert Wear eye pencil every day and in the past have used another cosmetic line's sharper to keep my penicils sharp. Needing a new sharpener I decided to purchase Maybelline's sharpener thinking it would work well with one of their products. IT DIDN'T!! The pencil broke off repeatedly before the end was sharpened. Thinking it might be a flaw in the Maybelline pencil I was trying to sharpen, I tried another Maybelline pencil to see if the performance would improve. That pencil repeatedly was broken off, too. Next I tried sharpening another company's eye brow pencil...the sharpener also broke that penicl off before it was sharpened. In conclusion a poor designed sharpener that I found could not be used for Maybelline's eye brow pencil or any other pencils I had. I definitely would not recommend this sharpener if you want a sharp, precise tip on your brow pencils.

After using this item I was so happy to throw out my old sharpener!
The cover that holds the shavings is great so I dont have to sharpen over the trash can...and the 2 different sizes works for all my pencils. What a great addition to any make-up bag.

This sharpener works very well, and is inexpensive. It sharpens without breaking the eyepencil or creating a mess like others I've tried. The case catches the shavings and can easily be emptied. A great value!

I have different cosmetic pencils in different consistencies and sizes. This sharpener works for ALL of them! I bought this sharpener YEARS ago and it's still sharp and functional. I've used other sharpeners that dull after so long or that don't accommodate the size of my pencil. NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THIS ONE. You get (2) sharpeners in 1, along with a cleaning tool, and it's even got a cover. AMAZING QUALITY!

This my third purchase of this sharpener, I just keep waring them out! I've tried many other brands and nothing working better then this sharpener. I like that it has the little plastic collar for the medium sized fat pencils so you actually get three sizes of sharpening options. The little silver pick for cleaning the blades is great.

This sharpener works like a sharpener is supposed to. I love the cover which catches the shavings, much neater. My only (minor complaint) is that the lid pops off when in my makeup bag for travel). So if you don't leave shavings in it, you're fine.

Loved the fact that the shavings are deposited inside the unit and then can be dumped instead of the old versions of this product where the shavings are not contained.
