I am not a fan of mascara (black / brown etc), and have dark long lashes. The colored mascara always flakes or smudges, every brand no matter what. So, for years I have been using this brand, to add a natural look and for brows. The brush is poor quality; needs to be thinner with more bristles. The stuff is sticky and thick. It is now EXPENSIVE. I used to buy this for $2 -$3.00 and buy when it was a 2 for 1 ($1. - $1.50). Maybelline was always a LOW COST drugstore make up brand. Now I think it is just too much money and there are better cheaper alternatives. I buy high end and drugstore, and while all make up is high priced, I get better deals (product quality, packaging, amount) or bang for the buck on the high end stuff even if the quality is the same. This is a staple in my routine- I use it after I fill in my brows on a full-face-makeup day and by itself on "no-makeup" makeup days i.e. at the gym, running errands. I have full brows and it helps to tame them, although the hold is pretty light compared to some other brow gels.

I bought this to use as a clear mascara for my lashes and also as a brow tamer. The brush is good but the formulation is really wet - like it has too much water, consequently it doesn't really do much other than make your lashes and brows appear wet and glossy and when it dries you wouldn't even know it was there. Won't buy again.

I've always used Cover Girl clear mascara to shape my brows but this product was on sale so I wanted to try it. Well, I'll return to using Cover Girl because Maybelline's clear mascara formula is weak and just lightly coats my brows. I could lick my finger and wipe it across my brow and get better control.

Multi tasker. I use for both eyelashes and eyebrows. This adds dimension and shine to my eyebrows which are nice and long already. I can use black mascara for evenings but prefer not so much drama for days. I use on my eye brows following a bit of eyeshadow and make them nice and neat - no reason for anything extra. I buy these 2 at a time when on sale. If you want to add lots of length or drama to your lashes this is not for you

I use this product on my eyebrows to keep them looking groomed. Its effective for this purpose. I think the consistency is a little "wet". I also think there are plenty of other products (good ol' vaseline comes to mind) that would do the exact same thing. But the wand is nice and its cheap so I will keep using it.

I use this product on my brows that are very thin and have no shape. It gives them volume and shape before I apply a brow pencil.

Also, I recommended this product to my husband to use to keep his mustache neat and he loves it.

I have light brows, and I find this to be a great way to slightly darken and SHAPE my brows...just go lightly or the appearance will look gloopy.
