Every so often I will buy this mascara in hopes of loving because of all the great reviews. I don't understand the hype. I hate it. My already curled lashed flop. This formula is so wet, it does nothing but clump my lashes together. They look short. I hate it. Never buy again, but my sister n law loves this stuff

I have tried every mascara on the market on my blonde lashes, but I ALWAYS come back to Maybelline. The curved brush is AWESOME at getting the mascara on just a little at a time so there's no clumping. The wand is short enough that you have good control. The mascara goes on well, no clumping (unless it starts to dry out, then I just buy another tube). I can't wear waterproof mascara because my lashes come out if I have to pull on 'em, but while NOT waterproof, this formula stays on quite well. And the price cannot be beat.

I have used Maybelline products for nearly 50 years and have always loved the brownish/black curved brush mascara. When I couldn't find my usual product, I chose this mascara. I also elected to disregard the negative comments that this product smudges, runs and flakes off. Unfortunately, these negative attributes are accurate. Sorry, I am tossing this mascara and will look for the Maybelline mascara I know and trust!

I like that Great Lash gives me a very soft doe-eyed look while keeping my lashes looking like they're really mine. It helps to use a lash comb. One thing I'm worried about is that it might smudge a bit if I accidentally touch my eyes even a little bit. I accidentally fell asleep with Great Lash on one eye and $18+ mascara (non-waterproof) on the other eye, and I've noticed that the eye with Great Lash was considerably more smudged than the other eye.

It runs and does not lengthen or thicken your lashes. this was a total disappointment.

I like the quality: doesn't clamp, separates lashes. Not sure about volume and length, since I have natural long lashes.The only con is the color of the tube - looks really cheap.

blech, don't understand why this is such a high rated product in magazines, etc. It smudges, runs and smears like crazy!

I have used Great Lash for about 20 years now, but previously with the straight brush. The curved brush actually makes a big difference. I always liked the product before, and now I love it. Works as well or better than some more expensive types I have tried. A good value for the money.

This stuff is cheap and that's about it. It smears and flakes badly! Spend a little bit more and get something else by Maybelline, called FULL AND SOFT. It doesn't give you a dramatic effect, but it does lengthen lashes to give it a natural look. Don't waste your money on this product, I can't believe people buy this every 2.2 seconds or minutes or whatever. They're wasting their money!
