This might have been the best mascara one day, but not anymore. It simply doesn't compare with the newer formulas out there. I wouldn't buy this anymore.

I am surprised at the 3-star rating. I have tried too many expensive mascara products that do clump or flake and are hard to remove. This one is the least expensive of all, and has every good attribute I want in a mascara.

As we all know the pink tube of mascara is truly a classic. I wore this brand for almost thirty years. However, when you only wear this brand, you don't know what you are missing. Years ago when my dates were late, I would sit and apply this mascara and I would have the longest lashes. At the end of the night, I would look in the mirror and find most of it under my eyes. I often wondered why my dates didn't tell me I was melting,

As long as the tube is new and fresh, this is a great mascara. It never fails to end up under your eyes, flakes so easily, and I always looked a mess. I don't remember it always being like this ~ who knows maybe the formula changed. I still wear the Royal Blue from time to time, because no one in the marketplace does blue (colored) mascara well, but Maybelline.

I love the size of the brush and it works great in the corners of your eyes. I have since moved on from my "pink and green tube", but I will never forget you. This mascara is easy to find, and the price is right. I wish that Maybelline would stop producing so many SKUs and work on perfecting this one.

I've tried so many mascaras, and I keep coming back to this one. The brush is good for seperating lashes and it doesn't deposit too much product like some others I've tried. It's easy to apply, no mess and never clumps. It's nothing fancy and just does what mascara is supposed to do. Besides that, it's a great value and a lot cheaper than most of the other mascaras I've tried. I will continue buying this product.

I have used tons of mascara including sephora and other pricey brands and this one takes the cake. It however, will leave a mark on your eyelids if youre not extremely careful when applying.

I will never understand how this mascara continues, year after year, to get Allure's seal of approval. It is one of the wimpiest mascara on the market. smudges SO easily, but then stains the skin under the eyes. Doesn't separate at all; the brush is too narrow. I bought this when I was 14. Its a good starter mascara for a tween, and that's about it.

I have used this product since high school and I'm now 61 years old. I have sometimes tried a different brand or a different style but I always come back to this one. It's inexpensive but delivers just like many other more expensive mascaras. I have also read MANY reviews by make-up artists who say this is the mascara they use on their clients and themselves.
