I'm a model and I wear different kinds of mascara. This mascara is one of the less expensive ones, but for some it works really well. It is easily applied, and I don't always have to refine it with a spoolie the way I do with others. I like that it doesn't make my lashes spidery, isn't very thick. It simply lengthens my eyelashes by coloring the almost blond ends, and adds just a little thickness to the entire lash. The look isn't dramatic, but natural. I think it is best suited for everyday, daytime wear. I take it for touch ups while out. I feel confident that I won't make messes with it. It may dry a little quickly, but one really shouldn't keep a mascara for a very long time.

I bought into this because magazines are always saying it's one of the best mascaras still around...I don't like it all. It dries fast, it smudges and clumps and it seems to go bad after about a month. It irritated my eyes so bad I had to toss it. I think there formula is old and they need to upgrade it or something. I wouldn't buy this again

I've used Mabelline for years since it was recommended to me. I've tried other products and always find some fault that keeps me coming back for that Great reliable Lash!

While I try new make-up and beauty products, I return to this Maybelline mascara as my "base". I use at least one, if not two others, on top, but this one sets the stage.

I have been buying Maybelline Great Lash mascara since I was a teenager...and I'll be 50 this year. I have tried other brands, including very expensive brands, but I have never found anything better. Given the price, I think I will stop shopping around for mascara. Tried and true.

Iv used this mascara for years, most mascaras irritate my eyes due to allergies, Maybelline is one of a small few that dont irritate my eyes, it does smudge easy when applying but when it dries it stays on well,and easy to wash off, It's always the most reasonably priced and I usually buy it with a buy one get one free deal, so it's very economically priced, Maybelline is a well known brand thats been around a long time, and Iv used it for years, I dont remember ever being dissapointed with any of thier make up products

I do not understand the hype around this mascara. I bought into it twice thinking maybe I got a bad batch with the mascara. This stuff flakes like crazy, and ends up smudged at the end of the day under my eyes! Still looking for my holy grail.

If I were stuck on a desert island, this is the one thing I would take! I've been using Great Lash for over 30 years. I tried some other freebies and coupons, and always come back. I pull the wand out and let it sit for a minute or two before applying, so it doesn't clump. The price is right.

Have used this product for decades and was not impressed with the tubes I purchased. Both dried out within days of opening product, maybe that's why they were on sale:(

This might have been the best mascara one day, but not anymore. It simply doesn't compare with the newer formulas out there. I wouldn't buy this anymore.
