Also, I've been removing my eye makeup with Johnson's Baby Shampoo for 35 years. Of course I do use sunscreen and other facial products but the reason that I use this mascara is because it looks great on but removes easily. I don't have to pull or rub my eyes but yet if I cry, etc. this mascara doesn't easily run. This has been a fantastic product for many, many years. VS Most Liked Negative Review Pathetic! Its a good starter mascara for a tween, and that's about it. I don't know, usually I am quite good at putting mascara on, but this stuff gets all over my face, even after I have let it dry. The brush is too tiny, and it is very liquid-y. I had to apply it very slowly and carefully so that it will lengthen my lashes. I agree that it smudges very easily so I try not to rub my eyes. It's great for a natural look, as it does not clump or glob but rather tints your lashes. It actually performs very similarly to Clinique's Naturally Glossy mascara for a third of the cost, so if you like a product that gives your lashes color but does not do much in the way of curling, thickening, or lengthening your lashes, give this a try. However, if you want thick, full lashes I suggest the Full and Soft mascara. My Mom used this stuff in the 60's and it hasn't changed since then (and everybody wore big, thick false eyelashes anyway, so it didn't matter). This mascara smears like crazy and basically just "tints" them- no length, no thickness. If you want to try a great, modern mascara, try Maybelline's VOLUM' EXPRESS.
