I have tried many different mascaras. Every single one would clump my lashes together. This mascara applies perfectly. It enchances the eye lashes I have which gives the illusion of volume and length.

The little skinny brush is great for getting those edge and bottom lashes. No flakes or smudges. Stays on in salt water.

I've used this product for the past several years and love it. Unfortunately, it seems to be harder and harder to find while manufacturers add new (but not better) products. It seems that every time I find a cosmetic product that really works for me, it is eventually replaced by something "newer" but never as good.

I don't know why people use anything else. I used to use Great Lash and loved it, but tried this one on a whim (it was on sale) and was instantly hooked. The thin brush is perfect for coating each and every lash without clumping. One coat gives you an amazingly natural set of long, long lashes. Add another coat for nighttime volume.

Unlike foundations, eyeshadows, lipsticks, etc., mascara is a product that you do NOT have to splurge on. Seriously, ask the professionals. I've tried brandname mascaras and have been horrified by the results. Give this mascara a shot and thank me later. :)

This is the only brush size that is good for skimpy or bottom lashes. Also, when you use an eyelash curler and don't use a water proof mascara first the curl goes away. When I teach (make up tricks) this is one of my go-to basic make up, must have products for lashes. After a base coat of this you can go to your lash lengthening products. (although a lot of them have brushes that is like trying to apply mascara with a baseball bat).

I didn't expect a whole lot from this, but it serves MY purpose very effectively. I'm an older gal (66) with short, skimpy lashes, an unsteady hand, & I'm constantly missing what lashes I *do* have AND poking myself in the eye with the huge clunky brushes usually found on mascara wands. While this product doesn't add length or volume, the skinny brush allows me to get into the corners & FIND what few lashes I have - effortlessly. I follow this up with a coat of Maybelline's Stiletto which DOES add the length & volume. The Discovery shows me where to use the Stiletto so there's much less eye poking. :) To get the absolute maximum effect, I add a coat of Ready To Wear Lash Extensions while the Stiletto is still wet. These are tiny fibers which adhere to the wet Stiletto & make the absolute MOST of what little I have without making me look like an old foof who's trying too hard.
I'd also recommend this as a first mascara for young girls just learning to wear eye makeup. It's very easy to handle, and adds just enough somethin' somethin' to accent a young eye in a more natural way - color with no clumps!
While Discovery stays on pretty much all day, leaving lashes soft & flexible (no breakage), it removes easily with eye makeup remover (I use pads).
For me, it's a perfect fit & while it's an extra step in my regimine, it's helped make my eyes look SO much better without all the clumping & poking. I'm very glad I took the chance to try it & it is now an integral part of my eye routine. It's a definite KEEPER & I'm ordering more ... not that they EVER get rid of your favorite products! ;)

This mini-brush is one-of-a-kind and I LOVE it! I hope they never stop making this mascara because since I found it a few years ago it has been they ONLY mascara for me. In a way, it IS my eyes. (what gets me most of the compliments, anyway) ;)

I've always had full lashes, but as I've gotten older (now in late 30s) they've faded a bit. This mascara and its tiny brush distribute an even coat of black color that absolutely does not flake (ugh) or smudge.

Yes, a tiny bit of black does manage to show up next morning, even after nightly removal with an oil-free pad, but I think it's better than the alternative.

The short bristle brush of Maybelline Lash Discovery Mascara is perfect for carefully applying just enough mascara and getting good separation of lashes. The formula is less likely to clump than any of the several mascaras that I have tried. The waterproof formula doesn't smear or come off until I wash it off. Great stuff! I am in my 50's and I have been wearing it for many years. I get compliments on my lashes too.

Clean and natural looking. I love the thin brush on this mascara because it does not hold a glob of clumpy goo. It goes on smoothly and you can build thickness with several coats without having spider lashes.
