I normally don't have any strong feelings toward any cosmetic but this mascara has changed that. Overall it works well (easy to apply, doesn't clump) and I haven't noticed any strong smell like other reviewers have said. My one major issue with this product is that after several hours of wear it flakes off, and not just a dot or two. I can't remember how many times I've looked in the mirror mid afternoon and seen flakes all under my eyes. I have pretty long lashes and don't cake this on so there's no reason to be flaking so badly. I'm going to toss it and go back to Maybelline Great Lash.

I love the smell of this. However it does remind me of my prescription nasal spray...but that is a lifesaver for me, so maybe there's a carryover there? Bottom line, it smells unique and "scientific" not cheesy girly.
Makes my lashes look like long silky false eyelashes. Very fluttery. Perfect for people who want defined lashes. You have to put this on deftlly to get a glamorous efect. It does dry a bit slowly, but what's everyone's hurry? Added driers tend to make mascaras dry your lashes and make them fall out imo. It's totally like a high end mascara called blinc which costs 4X as much.
Ilike the black. It's very sexy and professional looking!

My mother is a make-up artist and has given me the right skills for my skin type. We both have always used Maybelline mascara, but I had to try Stiletto when it came out and it rocks! I won't use anything else. I'm very surprised to hear others complain about this product. It's possible the flaking that is mentioned is because the make-up is not cleaned off properly at the end of the day.

I have literally tried over 100 mascaras and this is by far the worst smelling mascara I think I have ever smelt. It wasn't just when I was applying it or after it dried, I continued to smell it throughout the day. It was a chemical smell that I believe I should not be using around my eyes. Plus, even if it didn't smell, it didn't do justice to my lashes. Not a fan at all and I would not recommend this to anyone.

I have tried this in both regualr and waterproof. My main complaint with the regular formula is that it flakes and smudges after a few hours. My complaint with the waterproof is that it is impossible to get off. I ended up having to use baby oil to get the waterproof off, not fun at all. I do like the brush but don't think it is a stand out as a lengthening mascara.

This is the worst mascara I have ever tried. I could not wait to write a review on it, I feel that strongly about it. It takes forever to dry so it gets all over your eyes. It is runny and thin. It did not do a single thing for my lashes. It is like putting black water on them.

doesnt catch all the lashes... I have lighter ones & it was difficult to cover all of them to the base of the lash. Also flakes off easily

First, I want to start out by describing what this mascara does. For me, I only saw results with the length and separation of my lashes. There was absolutely no volume or curl produced. However, since I have naturally short, thick and curly lashes, this mascara was perfect for my needs. With only two coats I can have very long lashes. Unlike the other reviewers, I had no problems with flaking of smudging but this may be due to my different needs. The look can be either natural or glamorous depending on the other makeup applied. There are only a few drawbacks. First, the mascara seems to dry up quickly, making it necessary to spend more time applying, or investing in a new mascara. Also, there is a slight smell that seems common with Maybelline mascaras; the smell does not bother me, but it may bother others. Overall, this was the perfect lengthening mascara with very few drawbacks.

Not much to say...the cons tell all...if it didn't fall off in flakes shortly after applying the look would be perfect. Instead, beware & look closely in the mirror to keep cleaning off the debris under your eyes. Ouch!

This is the worst mascara I've ever tried. It doesn't go on easily and later there are smudges around my eyes and flakes all over under my eyes and on my cheeks. I have absolutely nothing positive to say about this mascara. I would have given it no stars but that wasn't an option.
